  • The reviews seem positive on the Avon website. (funny that)
This wonder cream might reduce the number of people who run away from me screaming.
    Thanks OP!

  • They make a vague reference to "30g" on the page… Dunno if thats the size, or it's one of THESE 2g

EDIT: The 30g is $20+, it's the satchet

    • The retail pack is 30 grams

The sample is a 2 ml one, not worth the exchange of personal details

  • I'm 22 and I want it

Just a word of warning, my wife signed up for a Avon sample a while back and all she got was loads of spam. She tried to opt out but we ended up having to add them to the spam list in her emails because they just kept coming.

Ah, that would be Avon calling.

I buy Avon products all the time and am a sort of a 'rep' - this looks like an old promotion because 'Genics' was released last year. They release new skincare ranges all the time so I doubt that they are still promoting Genics right now. The Genics samples were in 2g sachets. Perhaps OP can clarify on how the link was found?

(I will tick the rep box but I don't actually sell it, I just buy for myself ocassionally as there are no reps in my area and the only way to buy the products was to sign up as a rep (free))

    • Very interesting. Do you have a minimum purchase amount or can you just order whatever you want whenever?

My wife loves the stuff but we can't find anyone who sells it.

There is no minimum purchase, but the downside is the processing/delivery fee which is $9.95 (which you would not be paying if you bought from a rep). The only way to offset this cost is if your order is at least $100, which gives you 15% commission.

They have new brochures published every 3 weeks, with different orders every time and the offers can be very significant, up to 70% off on new ranges, so I just wait for what I want to come on sale. The brochures can be viewed online, and when you are a rep, orders can also be submitted online and it is shipped to your doorstep.

Despite the delivery costs, being a rep does give you access to very good offers and packages not usually available to normal customers and I have benefitted quite a bit from that. You can also order your own samples (such as mini lipstick samples in packs of 10 in different colours for $1-2 when on sale - all my girlfriends love them).

I usually just put in an order every couple of months and I prefer the convenience than being hassled by a rep :P

        • Thanks, I've signed up as a rep. Do you have a rep code or referral code that you can send me incase they ask for one, hopefully you get a kickback from it.

Thanks for your thoughtfulness, I think that had to be initiated by me (i.e. me recommending you) and it required your personal details so don't worry about it. I hope your wife will enjoy the products.

A manager has to actually come to you and sign you up at a mutually convenient time (at least that's what happened with me). It's a one-off and I never had any contact with them after that point.

Edit: Feel free to PM if you have any further questions :)

  • If I order… can it get rid off the winkles?
