Just make sure they don't write out a RWC certiicate - once done you have 28 days (I think) to fix all the issues!
yeh, wouldnt trust this at all. if your vehicle is bad enough, they might even impound it on the spot.
but seriosuly, who cant check their own tyre preassure ?
Road worthiness is about more than tyre pressure. I think as long as their motives are good, then this is a positive thing for the council to carry out. From my own experience, there are too many cars that should not be on the road, as they are a danger to both the driver, and other road users.
This is a great offer. Considering there are many cars with potentially dangerous issues that effect the safety of their occupants let alone others on the road, it may be well worth a check. It's a shame it's not done nationally. Although I live in NSW, I'm giving this a positive, definitely seems like good value and a great offer.
