Techniice Sale < 70% off RRP

50
SAVE10

EXPIRES MIDNIGHT SUNDAY 11/8

Props to jacobah5 for the SAVE10 code, which should give you a $10 discount. NOTE: Postage is charged on each item, so to get best value from the SAVE10 code order each thing separately…

Apparently, Techniice are the king of eskies.

Eskies come with 6 Free Dry Ice packs Valued $40

Esky examples (excl shipping);
40L = $79 (RRP 299)
70L = $159 (RRP 734) v BCF (Ice Kool brand)@ $216
60L = $103 (RRP 349)

NOTE: I'd take their RRPs with a HUGE grain of salt based on the comparison vs BCF

Shipping for eskies is $20+ depending on location and item ordered. Victoria shipping is free (well, they have to have something going for them)

They also have heavy discounts on their camping gear.

e.g. Single Self Inflating Mattresses 62 x 197 x 6 cms (W x L x H)= $39 + shipping ($10 to QLD). BCF = $100

  • I own a few of these eskies (different sizes). They work well and take a beating.
    The blue eskies do not keep cool as long as the white ones do.

  • you might want to change the < sign in the title to >

    is this an actual bargain, those RRP's look pretty exaggerated

  • How can it be an RRP if it is NEVER sold or even advertised at that price?
    Regardless the current prices could well be ok for these eskies which seem to be pretty good.

    • Go to any camping store, they ask anything up to $200 for these.

      • Really? ANY camping store sells Techni-ice eskies? These aren't available anywhere but through techni-ice

    • I did a quick comparison vs BCF and Bunnings and believe that it is a legit bargain. Haven't looked further than those however - and certainly not on every item.

    I have these and they are great. Also save $10 per order for the true ozbargainer. Use "SAVE10" at checkout. Have Fun :)

    • Love ya work! Where were you last night when I ordered ;)

  • I have two of these and agree they are very good. A few friends have them too.
    If you are patient you can get very good pricing via their ebay auctions. My last purchase was a 40L for $82 delivered to NSW. In the linked sale the price would be $94. But for the extra you can choose a colour and get it now.

  • These are definitely sale-style prices yes. The 40L was going for $99 for a long time. I have had a 60L Techniice Ice Box for about 3 Years. You can't beat them, and this was the earlier models too. The newer ones are much better. The techni-ice sheets are magic. When I go out fishing, I take the techni-ice ice box out with about 8 sheets of the ice-packs they give you free. Catch fish, lay them between the sheets, and when I get home, the fish are mostly frozen, and the ice packs still pretty solid too. Can't say enough good things about these. If I had some $$, I'd buy one of the new sugnature series boxes.

    Good aussie company that is definitely worth supporting (at any price).

  • I should have also mentioned a good tip with these. If you use the ice sheets provided, once you have "activated them" and start to use them. Put them in plastic zip-lock bags. Your standard LARGE zip-lock bags will just fit a full techni-ice sheet. This protects the techni-ice sheet from sucking up moisture or contaminents in use and protects the gel-cells. I even double bag most ice sheets for extra protection. Last thing you want is spilt milk in your esky, or even worse, beetroot juice or wine getting into the cells of the ice sheet. Its just not a good look after a while :P

  • Hey guys!
    Has anyone have one of these?
    Self Inflating Mattress
    http://www.techniice.com/stock-reduction/matpil-double.html

    I'v never had one so how does it keep inflating itself? Do you pull strings or something?

    • as per crew:
      there is a valve on the mattress and when you unscrew it the valve will suck air inside to inflate it

      to deflate the mattress just open the valve then roll it up tightly to force the air out then screw it shut again

    • I don't have this particular brand (I have a couple singles from BCF + 3 of these singles on the way). IMO, they are WAY more comfortable than an air mattress and seem to take more of a beating.

      I would avoid the doubles; they are very bulky and seem to take a lot more room than the singles (at least, the double that I have does). They are quite long when rolled up and aren't as easy to play "car boot tetris" with.

    Is this really a bargain if it can be regularly cheaper on their ebay store?
