Hey guys,
Was looking for a new mp3 player and found this deal.

SanDisk Sansa Clip - Digital player / radio - flash 1 GB - WMA MP3 - black

$26.50 inc gst
RRP $95.00
Save 72%

Ok, i realise that 1GB isn't much.. however it is significantly cheaper than anywhere else
(Cheapest according to StaticIce is $55.00)

It was also rated best mp3 of 2008
http://www.anythingbutipod.com/archives/2008/12/top-5-mp3-pl…

So i guess if anyone is looking for a very cheap, small, branded mp3 with warranty (i may just use it on the train when going out at night (ipod is a tad bulky) then this is ideal.

:D

nb. at time of writing this deal : "570 available for next day dispatch"

  • and where is the site?

  • where is the deal link???

  • Just did a search and I think this is the site he's talking about. Too bad they don't sell the 2gb version.

  • Ouch, $15 shipping rape

  • +1

Looks good, this site has a decent non-bias review & video on it : http://www.anythingbutipod.com/archives/2007/10/sandisk-sans…

UPDATE : Just Found A eBay Seller (In Canada - Fast Shipping to Aus - Feedback Looks OK) Who's Selling the 4GB VERSION For $75 (AU) Delivered. Have just ordered… http://ipodmarket.com.au/price-search/sansa-clip-cheapest-pr… Look down the bottom of page.

    • refurbished though..

      • Yeah… that worried me. Checked feedback for others who have bought it, everyone seems happy so i'm giving it a shot.

  • I've got the 4GB version of this mp3 player and it's fantastic - Small, has a screen, radio, recorder. Kills any similar spec'd ipod by a mile.

    • Good to hear, reviews say this one has good audio quality. I got a shuffle but it's fairly average sounding thru quality headphones. How do you find it sounds?

    • I picked up the 2GB version during the last catchathon for $48 inlcuding shipping and I love it, got one for my girlfriend as well. Use it everyday for at least 2 hours and having the built in FM radio comes in handy.

  • So-so deal - but I mean 1gb? The fact that it puts out such great sound quality is completely offset by its only being 1gb - making even a couple of albums of FLAC not possible to fit on. Heavily lossy other formats aren't such a concern - so no real advantage on this player….so its strength is offset by its weakness.

So……ok deal if you want a cheap small player….is just like the review said SUCH a shame they didn't have an expansion slot.

    This + 32gb MicroSD = Almost Perfection

    • the sansa fuze has a microsd slot if you want it. still cheap when ordered online from ebay.
has the same sound chip as the clip.

im still waiting from mine to arrive.
