    $17 to buy .. $1700 a year to run ! :)

Buy an oil bar heater and save your lungs from toxic fumes, save electricity as it "turns off" periodically.

Toxic fumes from an electric heater.. what lol

      • Its not TOO bad VS other fumes.. but its easy enough to google the information.

        • I can't find anything on Google that mentions ceramic heaters releasing ANY fumes. Where exactly are these toxic fumes coming from?

Are you confusing a ceramic heater with a gas heater? That's all I can think of here…

    • does it look like we are running it at full capacity for more than 8hours per day everyday for the year? no.

      • some people do, they also like to walk around the house in their boxers in the middle of winter!

        • quote 'full capacity'

        • What happens in Summer? Do they want to walk around dripping with sweat? Most people I know pack their heaters away as soon as Winter is done.

        • As the saying goes, People in Glass Houses…ahem

    • the specs say it has a thermostat so it will also periodically stop heating

the cheapest solution is just to spend that $17 on warm clothing. running costs are minimal

  • hmmm, given that winter is just about over and spring are nearly upon us this will just be cluttering up your wall for the next 6 months

  • Actually a good little heater. I have this one and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a thermostat (just 1000 or 2000 watt mode). Good for quick heat for a short while.

  • Damm…No Click And Collect Option From Ellenbrook WA

  • I ordered the Tower heater 'cause I thought "ooh, I'd like a nice big tower heater". Then I realised the tower heater is 24cm.

    • But the width is 52.5cm.

  • Price has gone up.

  • The heater featured in the picture has gone up to $27.30 since last night.
… in fact the substantial discounts on all the heaters that were on special yesterday has been significantly reduced, so the deal must have expired.
