Need to buy ~300 sausages tommorow morning

I need to cater for a large event tomorrow. Woolworths has 24 x sausages for $11 ($5.50/kg). Coles has 1.7kg for $7 ($4.12/kg).

Vic Market will be a bit too much of a pain tomorrow morning.

EDIT: Aldi has them for 1.8kg Sausages Thin Bulk Pack ($3.88/kg). That seems the cheapest.

$5/kg at my local butcher who always them available for such large emergencies especially on weekends :)

I reckon Aldi would be the cheapest, just head around to several local Aldis and you should be able to stock up on 300, usually they have 24 packs or so, so around 12 - 13 of them would do the trick. I reckon you should be able to pick up at least 4-5 from each store, so maybe three stores would be enough?

  Yep, went with Aldi. Cleaned out their sausage supply. :)
  
  Went with 13 packs of sausages, bags of onions were $1, bread was $1 each. Fairly cheap. Unfortunately, I had to get something veggie and that's where the prices skyrocketed ($9/kg).
