Adidas Adistar Boost Approx. $151AUD Delivered Using Code SAVER10

70
SAVER10

Hope this helps someone other than me.

Start Fitness in the UK are currently having a weekend special on the relatively new Adidas Adistar Boost running shoes. These retail here in Australia for $220AUD and in the US for $170USD. Worse still is the fact that Adidas are marketing these shoes towards the more 'serious' runner, meaning that they can currently only be found in specialty stores like The Athlete's Foot & Rebel Sport.

The shoes themselves have gathered quite positive reviews from what I've read, and once VAT is removed for orders shipped to Australia and the coupon code 'SAVER10' is applied, the total price comes down to around $151AUD delivered.

Two colours are available on special for men…

and one available on special for women…

See below for Adidas' spiel on the Adistar Boost:-

"Keep every step charged in these high-energy running shoes. Made with a sock-like techfit upper, the men's adistar Boost features the boost midsole for efficient energy return, FORMOTION that adapts to the ground, and TORSION SYSTEM midfoot support. The techfit upper is designed to have a snug performance fit."

    Overpriced super-ugly shoes … Tasteless brand… Won't consider unless under $50

    • yeah, they kinda look like a modern take on those bogan KMart sneakers from the 80s….

I would'nt say tasteless though… that's kinda judgmental! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! ;)

High cost runners have a fairly average build quality in my experience. I've found there is better quality to be had in clothing/footwear from surf and skate shops, those brands actually give you something back for the extra money your paying.

Agree. My words speak for myself :) it is ugly and tasteless in my eye!

        • Yeah but these are a specialised running shoe, designed for people who are serious runners. They aren't aimed at people who want them to look cool whilst cruising the shopping mall!

    Not too bad.

I used the same code SAVER10 to get 10% off on another shoe they were selling (Brooks)

Great price (AU$110 shipped) compared to Australian pricing ($150-$220).

    Thanks

  • I got a pair of black Nike Air Max Defy Run for this price including express shipping from Aus.

I want to buy a pair of Nike Air Max + 2013 when I can find a pair for less than $150

I actually like Adidas but I wouldn't wear the shoes on this deal, its very hard to find good running shoes that you can wear casually as well.

And sometimes I even wear the shoes below

Not saying these Adidas shoes are a bad deal, they may be excellent for running and if thats going to be the only use then looks would come second after performance.

Bought these shoes when they first came out. Dead comfy. I don't have to wear orthotics when I wear these shoes, unless I'm doing heavy running.

  • I bought these exact runners from The Athletes Foot in Northland 4-6 weeks ago for this same price !

I was recommended there by my podiatrist

(and I got fitted by them using their "ooga-booga" machine included in this price)

  • I don't think it's worthwhile for the item suggested.

Why not just buy it from Wiggle?
    A$148.60 delivered.

Wiggle has the men's shoes 'available to order', meaning it's not yet in stock. Start Fitness also has the other colour scheme and different sizing options available. But yes, if one chooses to buy the shoe and is willing to wait, they could effectively save a couple of bucks with Wiggle.

  • Just be wary if you have wide feet. I needed a size bigger than normal and they were still very tight width wise. They really are great running shoes but they are tighter than normal and also get very hot
