  • Any opinions?

  • Seems like a decent price for 6 burners and a side burner. All depends on quality now and i have no experience with these. Have a look instore at the display model and see how long the warranty is. If i was in the market for one i would buy it. Just have a quick look at comparable prices at Bunnings.

  • $349 down from $899 seems too good to be true, I call BS.

I'm not saying it's a bad deal though, I'm no BBQ expert but I'd start by checking things like are the plates thick decent quality or will they warp at the first sign of heat. Shouldn't the burners be stainless steel for a "$899" BBQ?

Still, seems like good bang for your buck, even if you need to upgrade a few bits and pieces.

BBQ gurus please comment, I could be persuaded to buy this ;)

No guarantee they sold any at this price though.

  • No idea on the quality of this one, but I find the first things to rust are the flame tamer/diffuser and the drip tray. Finding replacements for non standard sized BBQs is not easy.

Not much point paying extra for stainless doors and lid if the the parts that burn out are cheap junk.

There is no mention of what these parts are made of.

    • That was one of my concerns, I'm assuming this isn't a "standard size"? whatever standard size is. I know I bought a pretty fancy Aldi BBQ once, and over time those parts you mentioned all failed, when it came to replacements I ended up throwing the BBQ out.

I'm happy to upgrade a BBQ but no good if they are not upgradable.

    • Where is the reference to this being non standard size?

  • Seems like a reasonable price. But I think it would have to be seen to be relieved.

    • Seen to be believed? :)

"Relieved" of some cash and doubts. :-)

Ironically the Brahmans don't eat meat.

  • Barbeques Galore have a 4 + 1 side burner for $399 after "discount" of $400…. So given this is a 6 + 1 I took the bait and ordered 1 online now. Cheers OP!

  • I bit the bullet and bought one. They assured me these are standard size, sure it could have been good sales work but I took them on their word and put down a deposit to pick up another day.

I couldn't see it in the flesh, none were on display but as long as it IS standard size then upgrading it will not be a problem so I'm happy.

  • I purchased the 4 burner at $249. Yet to put it together. Hopefully these heat equally. Stainless burners is a plus.
