LG 55" 55LA6230 3D Full HD LED LCD Smart TV - NEW with 1Yr WARRANTY $1,592 Delivered

11

This is the same television that recently was part of a Group Buy Deal. Videopro is now offering the TV for the same price on their normal eBay listing.
Please note that their own website has the TV for $1 cheaper, however no free postage, so the eBay deal is better value.

as pointed out above… if its cheaper elsewhere that means this is advertising (spam) not a deal. please take your spam elsewhere this is OzBargain not OzFreeAdvertising

      • Just being cheaper one other place doesn't mean this advertising spam. If someone doesn't want to or is unable to buy from Flingshot then this is still a decent price. I don't think $14 difference makes this spam.

      • That's quite a directive from someone who has posted '1 posts / 1143 comments'

Don't call out Nosdan for not providing anything to this commmunity. It's not productive to highlight how he doesn't actually do anything beneficial for anyone.

  • Not going to neg but imo too dear for a 55. Can get quality 60s for less then this.

LG - The best LCD/LED set.
55" - Preferred size for me atm.
      3D - No need.
Price - It includes delivery… Yes!

      • I own a LG 55" smart 3d.. Its the best tv by far that i have seen. plus the magic remote is just amaizing.. not sure if this comes with one but htis definately should be compatible with it.

I even took one overseas with me as a gift for my parents.. Price factor is debatable as you might find a better deal elsewhere. Go in to binglee and bargain.. you'll save atleast 50-100 over this price.

  • LED/LCD or Plasma for next gen games consoles?

  • What's the verdict about 100Hz versus 200Hz on LCD? Is it worth the $$ difference?

IMO the latest Samsung's look a lot better, but that may be how Harvey's trick them up.

All Samsung TVs are active 3d and LGs are passive. Google for passive vs active 3d and you'll find out which one suit you best. IMO I prefer LG's passive 3d as its easier on the eyes compared to active 3d.

    • FWIW, my local JB "TV Guru" advised me that 200Hz is mandatory if you want judder-free motion for things like footie (rugby league, of course), motorsport, etc. He then proceeded to demonstrate this in store on a couple of brand-name tvs.

      • a 100Hz tv works just fine mate.. He is there to sell the most expensive stuff to you. You have to decide on your needs.. not his.

        • Thanks atitshah87. However, how do you explain the difference I witnessed in-store when the 100Hz tv displayed noticeable juddering, and the 200Hz tv displayed a smooth image?

        • Most likely he was using a display with a low refresh rate.

Comparing TVs in a TV store is almost never a good thing. They typically have the cheaper TVs configured badly in order to make them look a lot worse, or they compare models that aren't equivalent to enhance the effect of one particular feature.
