[StartHere] $64 Cashback from 3 Mobile - Only for New Signups?

I am already a customer of 3 and will be adding a new handset to my account. I know about the $100 and that works for me. What about the MoneyBackCo cash back - can I get this as well?

  • You can get $64 as well. I've got it myself, although still waiting to be paid.

  • Am I eligible for the $64 if I only get a prepaid handset? Or is the $64 only available for those who sign up for a contract?

    • Hi,

$64 is only available when you sign up for a contract, if you use [this offer](https://secure.moneybackco.com/merchants/3-Mobile/ "3 Mobile") you will get 7.5% moneyback on the value at the checkout for pre-paid phones and SIM cards.

      Cheers, Steve.

      • Steve, I had just sign up 3 mobile new contract this morning via the moneybackco site, but i didnt see any transaction / enquiry detail on my transaction page. Can you please advise me if my transaction goes thru? Sorry, i am abit new to moneybackco, and i dont want to make a mistake by missing the $64. Can you please be so kind to advise me. Thank You Steve

        • Hi, if the transaction hasn't appeared in your transactions view within 7 days of you completing the order, please complete an 'Enquiry Form' from your 'transactions' page and provide the exact name of the offer you used, '3 Mobile', '3 Mobile Handsets' or '3 Mobile Braodband' and quote the 6 digit order number from your email confirmation.

          Steve.

  • I never got mine either but this was 4 months ago and its too late to get it back…

  • I am already a customer of 3 and will be adding a new handset to my account. Just wondering if anyone has been approved/paid by MBC for this type of handset purchase? Cheers

  • Bump for 2010:

Did anyone order a three postpaid phone on a plan with the $64 rebate + $100 three online '100special' recently?

It appears that orders get sent but perhaps not filled - wondering if anyone else tried this moneyback for the HTC Magic $29 cap plan?

I think my order's potentially in limbo as a result of using the MBC link!

    Cheers,
    Bizi

  • Hi STeve,
What does sent to networks mean?
my three moneyback was canceled and query it, the status stated sent to network
    could you please kindly advise

    Thanks

    • Hi,

It means that your enquiry was sent to the affiliate network responsible for 3 Mobile.

I'm happy to report that the affiliate network has reported back and your transaction has now been approved.

      Cheers, Steve.

      • Thank you Steve…

  • Hey steve, I lodged an enquiry a while back for a contract with 3 (htc magic) from the 25th of december. the current status is sent to network which it has been for a while, I understand it is out of your hands while in this state but now it is passing 8 weeks since I ordered, will this cause any problems considering that it is with 3 and has been for a while now?

    Thanks

PS the account name is talpasai.

    • Hi chansthename,

No, as long as you lodged the enquiry in good time, which you did, the 8 weeks isn't a problem. 3 have been pretty good resolving enquiries of late, so hopefully we should have some news by the end of the month.

      Cheers, Steve.

      • Thanks Steve,

        puts my mind at ease

        • Just a quick follow up now. I have received my moneyback.

Personally my opinion of moneybackco is, use it (there is no disadvantage from using it) but don't expect money fast. The number of steps that it goes through makes the process slow but it is something that I believe is a 'do it and forget about it type of thing'.

The availability of communication here is great, it allows customers to talk directly to steve.

  • My 3's contract is gonna finish within 2 weeks, if i sign up a new contract with them, i will get $64 cashback?? is that real????

  • Hi Steve,

    there's a new deal from 3 Online.

Someone wrote that we can get both the
    - Moneybackco.com referral
    - some sort of refer a friend bonus

    It's noted here

Can you confirm if that is correct? Ideally by writing a reply to their comment.

    Many thanks

    • Update, he's written back confirming he's got experience that we can claim both bonuses :)

      • I just want to make it clear that I didn't reply to the thread indicated, this was an MBC members' experience.

As far as I'm concerned, the conditions as quoted on MBC still apply:

Use of some voucher codes or referral codes may result in your transaction being declined by 3, the final decision is theirs. If this happens we are not able to process an enquiry for the declined transaction.

        Thanks Steve.

  • I am also an exsiting 3 customer near the end of my contract and thinking of getting a new one through mbc. Can someone confirm if I am eligible for this? I have had always good experience so far in using mbc for other merchants, but how is the chance of getting moneyback from 3?
