get it from Officeworks for cheaper price

  • -1

unless you want 256GB storage (which can be upgraded easily for around 180$), warranty and price are better than this offering for sure.please dont hate me for pointing this out, but this is what we OzBargain after - real bargain, save money!

    • OFW is the lower model with an Intel Core i3-3227U processor with a clock speed of 1.9GHz

      • -1

yea, sorry, you're right but almost 200$ more for not much different though :),the OFW price more affordable to most people, also, can't improve much with i5

        • +2

Please don't hate me for pointing this out, but you're not making a lot of sense webtherapist. As LHSolutions has pointed out it's a different CPU and it has twice as much storage. The combination of both of these would make it worth while.

The cheapest mSATA 256Gb card is $232 on static ice, not the $180 you said and IMHO a i5 is definitely worth getting over a i3. Cheaper doesn't always mean a better bargain, Ozbargain or not.

  • Hi everyone,

Just wanted to see if everyone has received their Toshiba Touch Tablet U920T order and if it was brand new or refurbished unit?

I received my Toshiba Touch Tablet U920T and was surprised by the Refurbished letter and stickers as it was advertised for sale as brand new…

    • Looks like they updated their website after the sold out

      • Yes,
I did contact Toshiba to check my warranty.
Was informed that warranty is valid till 18-OCT-2014

Ozshoppingheaven.com.au contacted me via phone and apologized for the troubles…

There is no scratch marks or signs of use and abuse on the product.
Guess the Toshiba service center is doing a great job Refurbishing them.

Still a good bargain as they retail at Harvey and JB for about $1200+

Most important is that my girlfriend is happy and wants to keep it :) lol…

  • Refurbished models go for this price (staticice) if you can get a new model from OW (even though it is slightly lower spec) for $700, I would ask for a refund and buy that.
