Good news: Games for Windows Live is shutting down!

Bad news: Games for Windows Live is shutting down.

Some games are already being moved to other services (mostly steamworks), but who knows how many games will be left unplayable?

    Not up to steam, up to the developers to rework the game to not require GFWL.

      I thought they might offer a refund if they sold you a game that no longer works since they are the POS after all?

Couldn't happen soon enough.
I've only had to ~~use~~ endure it once (Fable 3), and once was enough.

Yeah was a waste of time that program. Just a extra silly install step to finally play the game.
