Stumbled upon this one at www.cheapshark.com, but the Australian GG site was coming up at around $40. Was testing using proxies when I discovered there was no need for that nonsense since gamersgate.co.uk seems to work just fine as-is. My test of paying with pay pal went fine right up till it rejected it since I haven't updated my CC details.

If anyone knows any coupon codes please post them :) (the "derp" code will be accepted, but has no effect on the price)

Also feedback for whether anyone can actually purchase it or not would be handy (I already own the game so only willing to test so far). I see no reason why it wouldn't work though.

I am guessing DRM is Uplay only.. which doesn't really matter since it has to be uplay at some stage.

Strangely Far Cry and Far Cry 2 can b had for a cheaper $5.47 at the normal site (if that $4.99 is in american dollars.)

Has some Tagés DRM which is probably a deal breaker though.

    You can buy it on Steam but it will still go through Uplay.

    It went to $22.87AUD during the Steam summer sale. I can't see it getting much better than that in the next few months.

    The steam version offers no benefits over the uplay only version - both need uplay to run. The uplay version can normally be picked up a bit cheaper though.

    There appears to be no steam achievements for the game - these are all in uplay.

    The only actual thing you might loose by not having the steam version is the in-game Steam overlay. From my googling, it would seem there is mixed results for getting the overlay working via the add a non steam game option in steam.

    Owning the steam version myself however; half the time when I load the game, something will trick out and prevent the steam overlay from working any. So would make potential reasoning of "BUT TEH STEAMS OVERLAYZZ11!1!!" pretty useless when it barely works anyway.
