  • Those are some pretty awesome deals!
Anyone have experience from them? As in, any idea about shipping times and such?

Video Ezy, Ezy DVD and Blockbuster are all about $62 for GTA V. They are all the UK PAL version of the game so I assume that shipping is the same for all of them. Could be 5 days - could be 5 months.

      • Ew. Their site says 3-10 days, but also "These delivery times are from when items leave our warehouse". So i'm guessing it will take X days from X country, then 3-10 days when it hits our shores.

        • +1

          Exactly.

I contacted Video Ezy and their response was:

"The estimated release date on our site is September 17th. This means the date we will get hold of stock from our supplier, not the date you can receive the game. Once the game is dispatched it takes 3-10 business days to arrive. However, sometimes due to delivery delays by post office, it may take a bit longer than that. All dispatch is via standard post without any tracking information."

They say the 17th is when they get it. However they dont specify if that is overseas or Australia.

  • Wow, wish I'd known about Blockbuster's Online Store earlier.

  • "Ride to Hell" $45 on the 360. Wasn't that the game that received all those effusive, superlative reviews?

Can't pay using paypal without starting up an account with them, what kind of shit is that?

  • +1

    Hi
Only had one experience "buying" from them……not a positive one. Have a look on here at the Ni no kuni game apparently available for sale! Not sure if anyone actually got their game in the end…………. Shocking!

  • +1

Just so we're clear, their prices are ALWAYS 15% off.

  • Yeah, my recent dealing with Blockbuster was pretty atrocious.
I placed an order for Ni No Kuni after seeing it posted here.
It took about 3 weeks for them to send me an order cancellation notification, with the reason given for the cancellation being that they were unable to get further stock from their supplier. It took about another week to actually get a refund.
A couple of days after the cancellation, the game was still available for purchase on their website (albeit at a higher price), and they've since lowered the price back down but made it unavailable to purchase.
Pretty disgraceful IMO - I won't be bothering with them again.

    • I had the same problem with Ni No Kuni. And another order I've made with them before never arrived. And another one took 4 weeks. I gave them three chances and they failed three times. Will not be going back.

  • does anyone know if the gta 5 comes with the atomic blimp dlc ?

    • +1

Your best bet would be to send them a message because any information anyone here could give you would just be speculation. I lieu of actually getting an answer, I would buy this assuming it didn't have the DLC. However, the DLC will likely be available post-launch, for a sum far less than the difference between this price and local prices. Obviously this is a guess, but it would seem silly to me to make content (a blimp) and not sell it to people who wanted to buy it. However x2 - I would avoid Blockbuster - their shipping times are terrible and with a game as popular as this they are going to have thousands of preorders - making it all the more likely that yours will get lost/forgotten about etc.

      • Thanks for that i was just juggling between them and playasia (http://www.play-asia.com/grand-theft-auto-v-comes-with-atomiā€¦) i am not too sure about the delivery times with playasia but tbh i am not too fussy because i am going to have my uni exams on that time. I have never really pre ordered a game but does the price drop after the release ?
        Thanks again

        • The price doesn't drop the day after release, but it will drop a little over the next few months. In saying this, I have a feeling that GTA V's price will drop a lot slower than your average game, just due to it's popularity - if it lives up to the hype, that is. Prices also drop slower locally than overseas as well, it seems. Six months after release, my guess would be the price will be the same locally, and maybe $10 cheaper from our Asian/UK importers.

  • Try to get a price match at JB. It worked for me, or maybe I was lucky that time.

    • On a preorder?

      • No. I price matched Ni no Kuni at JB for $25.

        • Which probably makes you the only person who got it haha

        • Also got Project x Zone for $34. :)

But yeah the guy was like kinda new to this so I lucked out.

      • I guess you could just wait until the day of release. Walk in and ask for the price match. I highly doubt the game will be sold out so no need to preorder it really..

        • Re: selling out. Normally I would agree - but GTA V is the most pre-ordered game of all time. 1.5 million pre-orders in the US alone. It's going to be an astronomical seller.

        • You'll have to be real lucky on this one, ie. finding a guy clueless about games.
