US PSN Account

Hi guys,

My PS3 and Vita is signed into my AUS account with digital downloads purchased using my AUS account. Using the same console/handheld, what happens if I sign out of my AUS account and sign in to my US account and make purchases from the US store? Can I have both AUS and US digital games installed on my console/handhled? Do I need to reformat my hard drives?

Thanks!

IIRC it's fine for the PS3, just need to relogin. For the VITA, you need a separate memory card unless you don't mind reformatting every time. Feel free to correct me though.

I'm more interested in where you're buying your US PSN cards?

Thanks for that. As for where I'll be getting the US PSN cards, safest bet would be to get them from US Amazon which I can't give you the link to due to Oz's rules. They send you the code digitally so just make up an US address.

      You can link it.
Just have to remove the 'ref' stuff at the end of the URL.
I read somewhere that amazon requires a US credit card now for PSN but I'm glad it still works.

      • Oh, I actually haven't purchased anything from US Amazon since Feb 2013 so if what you said is correct, then bummer…
