Quick note: Red Rooster have changed their chicken strips. Got a Flayva yesterday and there was a sign up proclaimer how new and awesome it was. It wasn't.

    • I like your honesty, they probably saved 10c per chicken strip but made them taste 100% worse.

    • Agreed, I had a flayva the other day and ended up eating the wrap without the chicken it was so bad. :(

You mean you provided false information to a store????

        Tips hat to Snoops

Normally I'm pretty dodgy… But this time it's legit!!!
So long as the offer is listed in your EFC offers, you can print and use it before the day!
And EFC is Eat Fresh Club, Not Essendon Football Club. I'm not interested in what Essendon has on offer!

I hear Essendon has a great supplements program!

        • It'd want to be great at a cost of 2 Mil!

  • Anyone want to post the Salsa's Deals for the Week?

I got that email 2 days ago, but i am quite lethargic after those Big Macs. Only valid at certain Victorian stores btw.

OT - I never get Red Rooster Club emails, and sometimes the Subway ones don't come through either. This seems slightly healthier than the Chicken Bacon one a few weeks back. Sold

  • Quick question: How much is 1 Classic Rippa?

    • I was trying to check thier website for you… But it would seem a lot of their links on the menu don't actually link to anywhere!!

    • +2

      I think they are $6.95

I wish it had tomato, carrot, onions.

    • You mean you wish it was a Bahn Mii? Because Richmond and Footscray have Bahn Mii's and they're half the price of a Classic Rippa.

      • What's Bahn Mii?

        • 'Viet' rolls.

        • Where's the place to go in Richmond? Work near the corner of bridge and burnley.

        • Banh mi aka bang me

        • I suggest the store called Nhu Lan on Victoria Street. I enjoy their meatball sub which i think is called Xiu Mai. :)

  • anyone know if these have 100% chicken fillet in them? or is it chicken mash like they serve in McChickens?

    • "Crunchy Strips - Chicken (45%), Flour (Wheat, Rice, Soy, Corn, Maize), Water, Vegetable Oil (Canola, Soy), Thickeners (1422, 1420, 401, 464), Salt, Yeast and Yeast Extracts, Flavourings, Soy Protein Concentrate, Mineral Salts (451, 450, 516), Sucrose, Spices and Spice Extracts, Emulsifier (481), Dehydrated Vegetables, Colours (100, 160c), Herbs."
      They're chicken mash (but delicious).

      • I wonder if the flavourings are chicken, to try make up for the actual lack of chicken in it?

Sometimes I poke at the fillet just to see even the bacteria is still alive considering how long it has been sitting in the freezer. You know food is bad when even E Coli rejects it. Just kidding! ;-)

    Good deal nonetheless.
