You can make pretty darn good pizza yourself for well under $10…with real meat, real veg and real mozarella - not the plasticky, rubbery, reconstituted fat-and-salt-laden supermarket-reject mystery ingredients that fast food chains shove down your throat.
The only prerequisites are an oven, a pizza stone and/or a cast iron pan.

yes…..but it also takes time to collect your pizza, even if your local hut is direct route and you are so well known there the 13 yr old master chef crew captain just chucks it in your window as you slow down to a rolling stop…..
On that note, takes time to go to shops, buy ingredients, go back again when you realise you forgot the yeast etc etc

and dont forget the yeast, just make a list - if that is not enough, tattoo "yeast" across the knuckles of your phone/card paying hand so you are reminded at checkout every single time
Pizza hut cheese lovers is really good. Surprisingly so. With cashback it's a reasonable price too
not that surprising really, not with all those added lab concocted flavour enhancers, additives and preservatives…..mmmmmmm mmmmmmm
any good receipie link for pizza dough?
300g flour ( i use normal flour - seems to work better than 00 bakers flour, its more 'glutaneous' (stretchier/holds together better) and much cheaper)
2 tbs olive oil
180ml water
2 tsp yeast
1 tsp sugar(makes 1 large deep pan or 2 small-medium thin bases)
get yourself a free/cheap breadmaker off farketplace/scumtree, use dough setting for 45 mins and you are literally ready to roll.
if you cbf making sauce, leggos sachets are pretty good, or even just homebrand tomato paste with a shake of dried herbs + powdered onion & garlic.
use real ungrated mozarella ball and grate yourself - can mix with a sharp grated cheddar to make it go further.
Meatlovers - cooked bacon and some beef mince or sausage + ham, pepperoni/salami, onion (BBQ Sauce is an option)
Veg Supreme - black olives, onion, capsicum, mushroom, cherry tomatoes, salt + pepper
Hawaiian - work it out yourself

@backupper1: garlic bread is pretty easy too - put some crushed garlic, butter, olive oil and parsley in the microwave for 30 sec and spread on any bread you like, wrap in foil and cook with your pizza
additonally, remember to heat your oven to its hottest
Also, after rolling I like to let the base sit for another 30+ mins (depndant on room temperature) so it rises again - makes for fluffier texture

My local Pizza Hut is much busier than Domino's these days in WA. Domino's has stopped doing vouchers and just offering flat $13 pizzas. Bad move I think?
My local domino’s is a bit scary because there are at least 10 people near the front counter cutting and packing pizzas, while also serving the customer. Usually there are two people greeting me on average. PH on the other hand, one person comes out a couple minutes after I enter. I now get domino’s without cashback offers.
This is two Domino’s and two PH.
Last time i went to PH, they had a desserts fridge at the front and a guy came in a customised V8 mustang, waited for a couple of minutes to be served, opened the fridge and grabbed an ice cream, stuffed it in his hoodie and walked out. A camera was right above the fridge. Maybe louvre and PH have the same security company.
Lmao. I used to date a guy who surveyed all the cameras in every venue we’d been to, for no particular reason other than boredom. I feel like they should meet and have a chat.
@outlander: Nah he’s not technical. I only found out after some time when I did something embarrassing and he told me it was definitely caught on at least two cameras 😓I have not gone back to that place since.

If it makes you feel any better, most of those places only keep the footage for like 30 days. The only place it probably still exists is in your memory

The 2 pizzas and 2 sides for $27 is rather good.
They have a special 2-for-the-price-of-1 for the sides, so you could potentially get 4 1.25L drinks. If you value the drinks at $1.50 each, that makes the pizzas 10.50, less than the cost of what they'd be with the HUT5130
