I'm a highly successful everyday person, working at a job and running a business, raising a family and maintaining relationships and friendships and creating extraordinary financial independencefor myself and my family, and i can tell you that this book is almost certainly a crock.

If i can give you one hint or tip on investing it is this: don't learn from 'everyday' people, learn from those with real demonstrable expertise.

However i will say that it is comforting to discover that at least two of the authors have the capacity to sign their own name.

    Lucky i'm here, again.

    • Dear frecklenuts, I can guarantee that this book is not a crock. This is the real stories behind these investors who have actually done it, not some authors out there who write theory based books but don't practice what they write. All 12 have invested and that's how accumulately we have acquired these 76 properties - I myself have just acquired my 14th and I started in 2004 - that's no crock of BS. Challenge us on any point in the book - or better still, before you label it a crock, then buy it and read it and if you are ever in Sydney come and meet us and I can show you all the property files I have to prove that I've done it. I am an everyday person, but I'm also a person who has the real expertise as you seem to think that I don't.

Also, as the authors are not all based in Sydney at the time of posting yesterday, I did manage to have two of them sign. Sorry to have disappointed - could easily have sent them out without being signed at all.

And for Mattgal, at least you are getting it for the same price as what it was previously offered for. Go to the Buy the Book on our website and you will see it is $25 for those that are not members of this site or did miss it on FB a while back, so for those that have bought in the last day, then they have certainly received the deal I've offered and all have been shipped as of today.

I hope that helps those that have posted.

      Regards
      Swarnie

      • I can guarantee that this book is not a crock.

        Let's talk about cowpats.

Suppose i bought a cowpat for $1, and sold it a week later for $100. That's really good - i've made $99, but that doesn't mean i possess any demonstrable expertise in cowpats.

Suppose now that i was the guy that bought that cowpat for $100, but then sold it a week later for $1. That's not really good - i've lost $99, yet despite the fact that i have no less demonstrable expertise than the earlier guy, i don't make it into your book.

This is not rocket science, it's cowpat science, and it applies everywhere.

Plenty of people have made money in property, and perhaps i have too, but i can guarantee you your book is a crock. This guarantee has the same worth as your guarantee - that is, worthless.

        • I believe you should actually write from experience just as our book is written from experience - read it and then make an educated response. If you still think the book and its contents are a crock after reading, then I accept your comments, since I believe you haven't read it, then I will continue to defend the book and all the authors contained therein.

        • Experience alone does not equate to expertise.
That is the fundamental category mistake you are making in your marketing material.
It is seductive. It is also misleading.

Take 10 people. Get them all investing in a particular asset type. Say 2 make it big, 5 go ok, but 3 lose their shirt. You or someone else have just taken the first 2, written a book based on their 'experience', and plastered their name on it.

It's the most common, but also the most effective, scam out their. It will work with certain people - usually those that are vulnerable for various reasons to that kind of marketing.

I'm not going to waste my time reading it buddy - your web pages already confirm the above, so why would i bother allocating the time? I am way too educated, and way too experienced, to fall for this crap, as are most people.

That's why you're wasting your time with me. And of course i'm not writing this for you - it's for anyone who might otherwise fall for it. You and your site have been deconstructed. Unpleasant isn't it?
