    Every time I hear that reference it reminds me of Han's quote "You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon?… It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs" except parsecs is a unit of distance not time!

      Slightly off topic (apologies to the OP) but I use AutoCAD for my work and I only noticed a couple of weeks ago that when you select the units you can draw in, "Parsecs" was on the list directly beneath "Light Years".

        And? I dont understand your confusion.

        Light Years IS a measure of distance, just like Parsecs.
        1 Light Year is the distance light will travel in 1 year.

        Autocad can obviously be used to draw solar systems and star maps…. hence useful units of measure.

          I wasnt attempting to be condescending mate, hoondaboy was replying to a post about distance vs time (as opposed to a making a new post as a separate remark), and I honestly thought he was confused.

          If he wanted to make a separate remark, maybe he shouldnt have replied to the first post.

          And hoondayboy, I AM a fan of both and did find your remark amusing (hence no neg votes from me anywhere here).
