  • Great battery life

    Hours please?

  • Wow that's tiny. I saw the kobo mini in person and thought its 5" screen was too small to be reading books.

"up to 2 weeks" battery life on their website, about half of most ereaders.

    • Yeah, a lot of ppl have phones bigger than this.

    • kobo mini's arn't bad just adjust the txt size to suit your needs. :) this however does seem pretty small…..and i read on my 5" inch phone :)

  • Isn't 29.99 the regular price?

It's called Digital Ink but it really is more of a generic eink.

Pretty decent. Thinking of getting one for casual reading on the go.

For hardcore reading, I'll still stick to my KoboGlo

    • Too late. Got one.

Reviews aren't that bad. Most people praising that its really small for an "eInk" device. High PPI and whatnots.

Couple of months back it was retailing for ~AUD75 in europe.

  • 4.3" is going be hard on the eyes. Upping the font size is sure to annoy the reader, with constant page turns.

Amazon have it right, with the paper-white @ 6".

  • Thanks for your comments.

$49.99 is the regular price - we reduced the price only yesterday to $29.99 for a short period.

4.3" sounds like a small screen but it is surprising how much text can fit. At 'L' font size (options are S,M,L,XL,XXL,XXXL) there are 120-130 words on the screen at a more-than-readable font size. So you don't feel like you have to turn the page every few seconds.

As has been suggested above, great for casual reading on the go and fits in a pocket.

  • What's the screen res?

    • +1

      600x800 pixels (230 dpi)

      • just received mine,
it's resealed with some tape (original seals cut),and the unit inside the box looks was previously open (no plastic wrap).

some packaging plastics hangin in the box too.
        looks a return or refurbish

unit screens is turned on with logo Trekstor.

        was expecting a new unit.

        • I'm glad I cancelled my order. Phew.

I'll be popping by my local store to check it out physically.

        • Maybe it was open to load the 3 religious books that I found on it?
