Hendrik Weber aka German techno minimalist, Pantha Du Prince and Oslo music collective The Bell Laboratory perform their world-acclaimed collaborative symphony, Elements of Light in an Australian exclusive.
Armed with gongs, tubular bells, and percussive instruments including marimba. xylophone and cymbals, Pantha du Prince and The Bell Laboratory collaborate in a mesmerising live performance, mixing the magical sound of bells with shimmering electronics. Celebrated for its seamless instrumentation, subtle narrative and dexterity, Elements of Light is a sonic continuation of Werber’s ambient 2010 album, Black Noise and a striking score designed to be listened to as one continuous movement of music.
Original and compelling, this collaborative project explores the limitations and possibilities of the bell as an instrument, meeting at the intersection of classical and modern music.
