110

Marked as 'quick sale'.
Updated Coles locations sighted at:
Keysborough
Springvale
Waverly Gardens
Burwood
Bayswater
Knox
Showgrounds
Werribee
Yarraville
Casey centreal
Naree Warren South

(All seem like Vic locations. Thanks for the input.)

Plenty on the shelves.
Only noticed standard flavor.

Expiry date on the one bottle I checked was 11 Dec 2013.

From comments: Word is they're phasing out 2 litre bottles to replace with 1.75 so it's a great time to pick some up as an investment to show your kids a few decades down the track and tell them 'back in my day coke came in 2 litre bottles and our grandfathers walked uphill both ways to the store to pick some up us so we could get diabetes.'

Works out to $1.045/Litre compared to $1.444/Litre from can deals if you aren't fussy what container your cola comes in. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/107054

They also had 30 cans of Pepsi and varieties for $13 (it's labeled 24 cans but the case was 24+6 free cans).
Update: removed this from title as comments make it appear as though it's not such a great deal.

  • 30 cans for $13 (Pepsi varieties, Solo etc) was last-weeks special up the road at Coles, Waverly Gardens and Burwood 1 - I presumed it was a wider special.

  • Coke Sale - can confirm this sale also at Bayswater & Knox Coles

  • Coles Showgrounds has the cheap cokes as well.

  • same price for 2lt coke at Werribee and Yarraville. Is Coles possibly deleting the 2lt bottles from their range? Or is a new size bttle replacing it?

    • More like they are getting of stock with specific promotions like AFL/NRL grand finals.

  • The 2L coke is same price at Coles Burwood
Word is they are going to replace the 2L bottles with 1.75ltr everywhere.
Coke is phasing in the smaller bottles across the board.

  • Same at Casey central Narre Warren South
    Also same ex date

  • If they're bringing in a 1.75 what are they going to do with the 1.5l and 1.25l?

I hate how this is considered "a bargain".

I mean, I love Coke… but the fact that their normal price has me paying more per litre than petrol never ceases to annoy the crap out of me when I buy it!

One is a limited resourse fosil fuel that requires intensive processing to deliver a useable product, vs a product that is basically sugar and water.

I wish I didnt like it so much :(.

Plus vote for the OP, as it helps fuel my addiction… but I dont like it ;).

    • Well… sugar water and advertising :p

Processing crude oil also comes out with bunch of other usable products through the processes though, one of which is petrol.

Reminds me of this though http://youtu.be/kERmpOlBIx8?t=41m47s . If the link isn't working properly start at 41mins 47sec :)

  • Thanks OP

  • Saw it at Cairnlea also.

Remember the 1.75L vs 2L discussion in a previous bargain. Here's the link if anyone's interested http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/114854.
