    • That shows up as $264.98USD for me, probably end up around $300AUD delivered.

    lol.
For extra $40, do you REALLY want to get it overseas?

If it breaks (video cards do break quite often…. especially high end ones since they run hotter), you will flush $200+ down the toilet.

I would recommend getting this in Australia for peace of mind. And you can always have the unlimited statutory warranty that we offer in Australia.

Do they still cover them under warranty when i've ripped the stock cooler off and run them on water?

some brands do, xfx and evga i think. on the nvidia side anyway

    • True, though Amazon have a really good return policy, they'll refund the shipping and everything.

    • most graphics card are easy to fix. just need to replace the thermal paste

    • Video cards break often?

      Says who?

Maybe if you mercilessly overclock them or don't have sufficient/cooling ventilation or skimp on your PSU.

I hang onto video cards for a period of usually 3 to 4 years; never had any die on me in that amount of time, going all the way back to my Radeon 9550 Pro.

  • amazon uk don't have a really good return policy and don't refund all shipping. and shipping refunds you have to pay for up front aren't entirely legal either………..

  • Uhhh price is $214 right now (even cheaper!)

    • Its in American dollars USD i presume thats what you mean by %214?, and doesnt include shipping

      • oh right
but even then if you used 28degrees, you save like $10 or something more

  • I think it may be cheaper if you charge it to your credit card in USD rather than AUD.

Was $263 for me in AUD

$255 when charged in USD and exchange fees applied.

  • I bought the exact same card on the 22-08-2012 from pccasegear for $299.00
