I've been looking at these for a while.
RRP at $199 on logitech.com.au. Cheapest I could find previously at a major retailer was GoodGuys at $178.
Noticed on static ice that JB online have it reduced to $99!
Seems like a bargain to me if you don't already have a TV with a inbuilt camera.
I'm not sure when the sale ends.
Agree - $199 is ridiculous, but $99 feels about right to me.

If it was just a USB camera maybe. This thing seems to be a complete stand-alone Skype client though, with it's own remote. There's no way you'd get this functionality any cheaper unless you DIY'd with a Raspberry PI and a USB camera and even that would be no more than $20 cheaper
Yeah for me I just put a webcam on my HTPC.
im surprised that all new smart tvs don't have inbuilt cameras.. it can't be that hard considering all computer devices have them now..
Not just because of the hardware, they just want something they can call it lower end and high end. Even technically not much difference.
Obviously they are not as SMART as they come!
I tried to price match last week at JB (dicksmith had it for 150). JB didn't do it because it was below cost. Glad I didn't buy it

I got one from COSTCO for 144$. Wish I could have waited. This is really a good deal.
Price matched at OfficeWorks Brisbane City, which undercut JB's $99 price tag by 5%. So $94.05!
