John Sample Automotive, the Australian importer of Aprilia motorcycles and scooters, has announced a Dorsoduro 1200 sales promotion.

Every customer purchasing a 2012 model Dorsoduro 1200 ATC/ABS before December 31, 2013 will also receive a brand new Aprilia SRMT 125 scooter absolutely free. The scooter is valued at $2900. Customers can use the scooter for themselves, register it in someone else’s name, or sell it — the choice is theirs.

    Couldn't they just sell the bikes for $15090 if the scooter is really worth that much to them?

      That would devalue the main item's price.

      Plus, the discount might not be anywhere near $2900 - remember that the scooter doesn't cost that much

      But anyway, the Dorsoduro must be a dead seller if they still have 2012 models left in stock and we are approaching the end of 2013
