    how do u backup these apps if u reinstall them?

    I think free promos ones don't become free if u need to reinstall…

    the apple method is better if u got it free, it still remains free when u reinstall

      It depends on the app. Some apps tie the promo code to your Play account so you can uninstall/reinstall as much as you want and without re-entering the code. e.g. any Runtastic app.

      Other apps you lose the code once you uninstall it. But that can be overcome by using a backup app (e.g. Helium (no root required), Titanium (root required)) before uninstalling.

          I stand corrected about Runtastic apps; it is tied to your Runtastic account. (Just tested it: I get the Pro "upgrade" only once I log back on with Runtastic account.)

          I wish google would fix this issue

          Agreed. Doesn't make sense why Google can't let developers make their app free for a sale and then put the price up again.
