      Click through and install the base game, Pinball FX2. It's free and includes the Sorcerer’s Lair table, so you can get an idea of the graphics, sound and gameplay. IMO Sorcerer’s Lair is a really good table and fun to play. Once you install the game you can play any of the pay-for tables for a couple of minutes before it drops you back to the main menu. All are done really well.

      I prefer The Pinball Arcade, which are based on real tables. To me Pinball FX2 doesn't feel as good and the tables don't flow as well. Don't get me wrong, not a bad game but I don't think it's the best.

    The Star Wars and The Avengers Chronicles are big, complex tables. The rest are pretty basic. You can try them all out for a limited period if you'd like - I did and that's what I ended up with.
