Interesting find (Wife!). Price advertised as $1186 and it does show this price if you book a a return flight trip.
If you book the same flight as a multi city booking price comes to $586.58.
Booked for tickets just then to Delhi, paid and confirmed!!
Haven't seen a better price to India. Don't know if it works for any other destinations,

  So…if anybody is travelling to Kolkata/Calcutta during the Durga Puja (Which is one of the biggest festivals in West Bengal), get in touch with me and I will be happy to show you guys around or give you any tips. Being a local, it's my duty to look after fellow Oz Bargainers :)

    Returned home yesterday. Trip was Brisbane> Bangkok> Kolkata> Bangkok> Melbourne. Then Tigered from Melb to Brissy. Nice flight, no restrictions at all. Even had 24kgs on my way to India and 23kgs on my way back. Didn't have any trouble with that.

    Had a big suitcase, a small backpack as cabin luggage, and a separate camera bag for my DSLR for cabin luggage as well. To be safe, I packed my tripod inside the check-in suitcase.
