Appears to be half price until tomorrow. No clear indication on what time it finishes.
Seemed like a decent deal, though I've personally never played it.

Is this any good for someone who's never played a Monster Hunter game before? :S
Probably better, it's kinda one of those games were it is the same between releases.
Depends if you like endless grinding, its fun for first few hours but good chance if your the average player you will quit.
No online play either.

monster hunter on PSP was one of the best games out there
its very high on grinding (have to play lots of maps to get items to make weapons etc)
prolly a good game with friends or a long train ride to work!
average map/quest takes around 20/40 minutes
for a few items
I grinded at least 1000 hours on this game! (played monster hunter 1,2,ultimate)
the game is a third person adventure game
high skill level needed (not a mindless hack and slash)
$19.99 on the US eShop. Australia getting screwed again.
Might as well get the version on the Wii U for $39.95 if you own a Wii U.
Another good price is Tetris 3DS for $13, cheapest I have found.
