Been waiting to buy Skyrim Legendary… at $22 for the Steam key, I think it's the lowest I've seen it

I understand your point of view, but this is very common to buy russian keys of a game, that's where the best prices are
Under steam's rules they reserve the right to close your account if your caught using a VPN. But I haven't herd of them doing this to anyone yet. But I personally wouldn't risk it if you have many games on your steam account.
You should be able to get it at these sites for about USD$29 without a VPN.

You just need a VPN to activate it, it's pretty straight forward, I've downloaded the game; then there is a little configuration step to start the game without VPN
Truth is, many people nowadays travel, that region lock thing doesn't make much sense, it's unlikely they'll ever close anyone's account for thatAnyway, you need to fiddle a bit to get it for AU$22 or pay more for a non russian version… I guess it's up to you, but most of the time russian/ukrainian versions are like half the price and they are the same as the others (english language)… bought many RU games like that…. another example is DMC for AU$12
I've been waiting for it around this price (specially the last couple of days as i have a few days off on annual leave) but just not worth the risk and effort for a few bux… good price though…

OzGameShop usually has cheap Skyrim LE boxed copies and CD keys, if you want a cheap legit source. I am currently modding Skyrim, a very time consuming task, comparing racial head normal maps, customizing the female mesh with Caliente's Body Slide, lottifying weapons and armour mods, etc. You can roll your own game now that there are so many modifications available.

It all sounds a bit too dodgy to me. I'd rather wait for another Steam sale and pay 10 bucks more and not have to worry about anything.
