Cheap Tablet Under $200

Hey all,

Looking to buy a cheap tablet for my daughter to watch movies and play educational games on. Any assistance or recommendations would be appreciated. Looking at the following:

Amicroe 9.7" TouchTab IV Tablet: Hardly Normal $197 http://www.harveynorman.com.au/amicroe-9-7-touchtab-iv-table…

Or

DXtreme D1030 10.1": oo.com.au $190.90 delivered http://www.oo.com.au/DXtreme-D1030-10-1-25-6cm-T_P184577C599…

Battery life on the DXtreme is only 4-5 hours but plenty for basic viewing. Concern is having to plug it in often.

Thanks for your help.

  • http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/117391 —> I have this tablet and have found it really nice. This is a great price if you have a JB 20% off voucher and don't might the hassle of applying for cashback. Note though it is 8 inches so if you watch movies you will have black bars at the top and bottom reducing the viewable screen size a little. Some people also have mentioned the screen resolution is a little low. But personally in real life and for the price it is a great little tablet.
