Steam: Titan Quest 80% off - $3

190

It's a Diablo like RPG-lite from 2007 that received good reviews. i haven't seen it marked down on Steam before.

"From Age of Empires co-creator Brian Sullivan and Braveheart writer Randall Wallace comes an innovative, all-new action role playing game set in ancient Greece, Egypt and Asia.
The Titans have escaped their eternal prison, wreaking havoc upon the earth. The gods seek a hero who can turn the tide in an epic struggle that will determine the fate of both men and gods. Are you ready for the quest? "

  • This is a seriously awesome game. Worth paying to get multiplayer working. Great find OP, + Votes for you.

  • Great fun game - I spent way too much time playing this when I bought it. Do recommend.

Most the team that created this game finished a Kickstarter a few months back. The new game looks awesome! http://www.grimdawn.com/

  • I got the base game through the THQ humble bundle. Is the expansion Immortal throne worth buying?(Its 80% off as well)

    • Yes. In fact, better to buy Gold edition if you didn't have base game already. It adds a new Act and tons of new class combinations.

    • Yeah, Dream (new mastery) is ridiculously awesome.

For people in the know, years back when I played TQ: IT, I was pushing 6-figure DPS with my dreamkiller (pierce stacked/aura stack).

      Redonkulous.

    • Absolutely.

  • Yeah, put an extra buck in and you have both the expansion and the original. It's quite a good game and still holds up well.

  • Good Diablo 2 clone and great price. But if you have played Diablo 2 to death then this game can get boring really quick. Some EB stores still selling the Gold edition for about $10 if you prefer a physical copy instead.

This game might literally be as good as Diablo 3. It's really well done.

  • I couldn't remember how many hours I invested in Titan Quest + Immortal Throne expansion pack :) fun unexpected loot not like Diablo 3 Auction House fest

    Spear + Shield = SPARTAAAAA

  • I can't recommend this enough. I have sunk hundreds of hours into it.

It has a good story, the visuals still hold up, the music is fantastic (I normally turn music off in-game but it was so good in TQ that I left it on) and most importantly the gameplay is top notch. Loads of replayability with the combinations of builds available.
