Omg, do people really buy $1000 vacuum cleaners?? Maybe I haven't been inducted into the world of luxury vacuum cleaners, but are the $1000 cleaners a lot better? Just wondering.

    • They're pretty good

    • Cleaner house with less labour, you'd appreciate the value if you have experienced allergies (or have kids with allergies).

I only have an old DC19 ($750 when bought), but it is running strong since last 5 years.

I used to buy the $99 jobbies from Kmart.. Pirahna..

Bought a DC41 Animal… Best thing i've bought in recent years.. Makes the carpets so much cleaner and fluffs them up too

  • Be rich buy stop complaining.

  • Bought a Neato, and the big Dyson (which was/is great) stays in the cupboard, and just use the handheld to spot clean & do the filter in the Neato…..

While they are very good, I can't help thinking there is some price gouging going on here. $1000 for a vacuum is ridiculous.

  • Older people may struggle using a dyson on carpet, best thing is to try it out in the shop first.
