As far as I know, the best time to buy Whitegoods (including TVs) are early in the year (This was advised by a Sales Rep from TGG)
Personally I'm waiting for a deal like this one

Im going to need a new TV before novemeber 29th when i will have a PLaystation 4 I guess refurbished units are my only hope i read somewhere jbhifi have 15% TV's early novemeber each year that could be ok i guess but i usually bargain to 20% off when purchasing a TV (Go through the manager)
The only bargains for TV's i see on this site is for the Rubish brands, Aldi TV's, Soniq, Kogan etc
Edit: Im not into LG i have friends and family members who have had issues with them, Personally Sony or Samsung for me Would only get a china cheap brand if it was top notch specs wise example Low response rate 200hz 7-8 star energy saving etc.
Well i got a SOny 55" W800A Which HArvey norman has it for $1995 for the TV alone i got it With 1 + 3 years extended warranty for $1600 from JB :)
