MSY equivalent:

Asus H81M-E Intel H81 S1150/2xDDR3/SATA3/USB3/DVI/D-Sub/MicroATX Motherboard $65.00
Kingston 8GB Single DDR3 1600 - KVR16N11/8 $79.00

Samsung SATA 22x Black DVD RW $18.00
Gigabyte GV-R777OC-1GD 1GB 7770 PCI-E VGA Card $115.00
Thermaltake VO750B1W3A Versa-II USB3.0 Tower Case with 500W PSU $72.00
Build Fee $70

Total $698

Good deal again.

Comment: PSU will probably hold up over time, but isn't ideal. Something like the Coolermaster K530 + Antec Neo Eco 450W would be substantially better but also ~$50 more expensive.

Wish they have shops in Sydney, otherwise warranty is a problem.

• Or Brisbane.

$93 shipping to my address in QLD kills the deal for me :'(

Imaging if something goes wrong, you have to send it back in your own expense.

• $46 for me in QLD/Gold Coast

Interesting you say that… Just tried putting in my work address in Brisbane which drops the shipping to $45.75. Temptation!

It's getting increasingly hard to ignore these amazing deals… My poor old HP laptop is looking pretty worried

My poor old HP laptop is looking pretty worried

Tell your laptop to relax - it can do tricks a tower never can … like sit on your lap without causing ischemia.

• Postage is $46 for me in QLD as well.

I see that CPL really has two main packages often going on sales:
1) The ~$600 PC for general usage; and
2) The ~$900 PC for gamers.

I'm contemplating between these 2 frequent deals. Any thoughts on which is better to buy for the long run? I do play a bit of games (FPS), photo and video editing.

This computer could handle gaming, perhaps not on highest settings on a game like Battlefield 3. Perhaps sell the GPU and buy a HD7870? That would handle gaming pretty well, although I don't know much about power supplies.

The ~$900 tend to come with SSD, which is awesome, but not entirely necessary if you want to cut costs, but still want a machine that can game.

For 'a bit of games' this is fine, depending on your expectations.

Otherwise I would suggest getting a third option, which is when they list a reasonable CPU and PSU using only the Intel video. These systems are great for general use and you can add any video card you like in for gaming.

• great deal, fine budget gaming computer.

• How do we buy it? Or has it sold out, no add to cart button visible?

Edit: seems out of stock :(

• From the source code;

Availability: Dispatch in 12 to 48 Hours (Back Order)

I think because the title is long the out of stock part disappears?

Thank you CPL for continually bringing good deals to Ozbargain…

Hey REP, what's the deal with you not accepting credit cards at all, or PayPal over $700, for online sales?

I was going to buy a couple of higher-end custom systems from you, but your lack of payment options put me off.

• yea how do i buy this? no button to add to cart?

• For someone who doesn't do any Gaming what so ever would I be better off just waiting for a deal like this again?
