I own a Nexus 10, with DosBox Turbo I've actually installed a few of these games onto my Nexus 10 and play them when I am out and about. Some of these old PC Games really outshine some of the newer games on the mobile platform.

Some of them play well, some don't it is a case of trial and error if you are that way inclined.

    • Wow. I never realised you could do that. Is it an easy thing to set up? Care to share which games worked (or didn't work) for you?
      Thanks for the info.

It is often a question of speed, some of those old games run too fast. There are things to tweak them but often find it doesn't work well. Think of the games that require little to no keyboard input, but lots of mouse input. Unless you have a Bluetooth Keyboard, then you are rock and rolling!

I've had most success with Warcraft, you need a patched(hacked) version as some still ask for a CD. The slower paced games work the best with touch input only.

If you have used Dos it isn't so hard, if you've never used dos let alone DosBox expect to do some reading and trial and error.

        BLOODY HELL

While looking for some info for you, I've found out some Windows 98 games work including the Fallout 1, 2 & Tactics, Age of Empires 1 & 2, Half-Life 1, Dark Forces 2, Sim City 3000, Star Craft, Red Alert, Civilization 2 and Homeworld!!!

        • I'm surprised publishers haven't tried making money on their old games =P

        • Wow that's really great. Thanks for looking into for me and the bonus info it found!

Medal of Honor - Allied Assualt:
Is on special and probably one of the best if not the best FPS availalble.
I still take a complete run through it every one or two years.
