    I think HN also has the 1100D with tamron 18-200 for about the same, which is probably much better for most people.

    The functionality of 650d is almost same as latest 700d.
    700d is sold at $978.I think 650d is better value for money.

    I mentioned this one on the Olympus post, I ordered it yesterday for shipping.
    700D is not at all better than 650D. The only advantage is a less plastic grip and engraved mode dial, and maybe slightly longer battery life.
    OP should add the body only version for $488 too.

      You could buy the body only 650D and get a 18-135 grey market at around $400. That would save you $200 or more without losing much at all.

        Looks like there out of stock now.
        By the time I buy the 650 and put a 18-135 STM lens on it I'm nearly up around the price of a 700 kit.

          The Super Kit costs $1418 at Harvey Norman or $1200 for grey market. $488 + $500 (worst estimate for shipping) is $988. Anyhow, it's too late at this point.

    there is a recall with the 650D. Becareful if its grey, but should not have issues if buying from HN.
