    $270 in the title.
With this price I think it's the other way around
Buy the machine and get 3 boxes for free.

Also there are better machines out there and cheaper than this

    • Hi thanks for your feedback. The boxes alone retail at $90 and the machine at $190
I've included the total cost in the description.

      Ciao

  • What life do these capsules have on them? ( UBD/ BBD) ?

    • Up to 9 months. Each capsule is individually wrapped for freshness

      • What is the minimum you would send them out with?

        • I just checked one of the boxes which has a expire date for November 2014. Fresh stock arrives every week so this date changes…

$90 per box (150 capsules per box).

    $270 for 450 capsules = 60 cents per pod.

piza d'oro (what ever they are called) are $5.95 for 10 capsules at coles/woolworths normally, but often come down to $3.95 and is nespresso compatible so there are other compatible brands available.

though Segafredo is a pretty leading coffee supplier.

however you are locked to that brand/type of capsule. but at 60 cents per pod from a decent supplier (but no idea if the pods are actually good) it may be a reasonable deal.

    Free Shipping Australia .

any coffee machine is going to be at least $50 so this is a bit of a bonus.

    hhmmm, reasonable deal.

    • Thanks for your feedback :)

Please note that Piazza D'oro capsules are not individually packaged in a sachet so flavour will deteriorate faster.
Yes you might be locked in with our capsules but they taste great (you are more than welcome to come try them in-store for free!) and we have different blends available from our own plantations with more blends to come.

      Ciao,
      Segafredo Zanetti

      • Please note that Piazza D'oro capsules are not individually packaged

Piazza D'oro capsules are individually packaged.

unless the box of them I opened yesterday was a factory reject.

      • Not that I think it makes a huge difference either way (since the pods themselves should be vacuum sealed), but the Piazza D'oro capsules are also individually packaged.

        • apologies I had a different brand in mind

The Coles capsules at 40c each blow away anything but Nespresso originals :)

      • I think the Sumatran blend pods from Coles are better than the Nespresso pods.

Honestly I don't see the point in a generic machine which fits Nespresso pods, when the Caffitaly & Aldi machines can be had for $60-$70 & the pods are cheaper.

        • Agreed, but I bought a nespresso machine before the others became available. When it dies I'll change.

        • I bought an aldi machine for the office but after a year everyone was tired of the aldi brand taste.

so we dumped it and get a nespresso compatible machine and then alternate between nespresso, piazzo d'ore and those uber cheap but nasty 20cent pods from dealsdirect from some months ago.

though last week I was tired off all of those and actually bought a large soy latte from the coffee place around the corner. $4.50!!! - robbery!!!!

        • Try the coles capsules! :)

  • well you'd hope that coffee is good

    • I invite you to come try some of our coffee for free :)
We have stores in all capital cities around Australia please see our contact page for addresses.

SSL cert issue on checkout, you have a "www." in the cert and not on checkout URL.

Recommend you add the GST component to title and description as majority of OzBargain will be paying the GST.

    • Hi thanks for your feedback. There is no GST on food products (including coffee) so for this reason we can't add a GST component to this deal.
Thanks for pointing out the issue, I have raised it with our developers. You're transaction however is still secured (we use Secure Pay from Australia post and Paypal)

      Ciao,
      Segafredo Zanetti

      • Ah, I understand (thus explains the 'free' coffee machine). Appreciate it is secured but it may spook anyone who doesn't dig a bit deeper.

        Good luck with the promo.

        • Thank you! Yes we're aware that it looks bad to the end user and we getting it fixed (unfortunate a sense of urgency is not on our developers agenda…) ;)

          Ciao,
          Segafredo.

  • I'd love to see a Segafredo vs Nespresso shootout. I'm a Nespresso guy myself but I've never compared.

  • I've updated the URL to include www. so there shouldn't be any https issues on the checkout.

Although the allure of a free machine is tempting, the combination of the price and flavour of the pods themselves is what matters since you will need to buy your pods from these guys at 60c each (or have a fairly useless kitchen decoration :P).

From a purely pricing perspective, you can get an Aldi Expressi machine for $79 and pods for 37c each - so as a direct comparison to this deal, you can get 450 capsules and a free machine for $245.50 Link.

Of course when it comes to good coffee pricing isn't the most important factor - but here on OzBargain it matters a little! :P

    • We are only a coffee company not a hard discount supermarket…
Our capsule coffee is the same coffee served in thousands of cafe's and restaurants around the globe.

Our coffee is sourced from our own plantations in some of the best coffee regions around the world, we'd like to think we've got it right when it comes to good coffee :)

Segafredo - I would love you to manufacture an Aldi compatible pod but containing with your coffee blends as I really like the Aldi machine….

Then you would be selling your coffee to thousands - including me. :)
