  • We're happy to accommodate dispatch date and click and collect/pickup changes, you just need to select a new dispatch date either via clicking the "Edit or View Your Order" button in the order confirmation page or simply logging into you Lime Blue Coffee account at least the day before the current date you have selected for your order
  • One dispatch per order
  • Please ensure you use the "shipping" dispatch date selector on the cart page if you'd like your order delivered to you and that you use the "click and collect" date/time selector if you'd like to pickup your order. If you plan to pickup your order please ensure you select the "pickup in store" delivery option on the checkout page, as this not only eliminates the shipping fee for you, but also allocates your order to the click and collect system we have in place, so it means you'll receive different notification messaging to assist you towards a smooth pickup experience
  • Any existing orders are unable to be changed from delivery to click and collect due to the different tech systems in place
  • If you select 500g as a quantity please ensure you also select 500g as the packaging option. If 500g is selected as a quantity with 1kg as the packaging selection the product will show as "unavailable"
  • 500g bag packaging (it's resealable) is also available for orders larger than 500g this is an extra $4.80 per kg including the discount (normally $8 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
  • Complimentary gift notes can be submitted via a reply message to your order confirmation email
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4 x 1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag

FREE SHIPPING for orders over $69. For example, 2x500g of either Single Origin and 1x1kg Pancake Party Blend via this deal is $69.78 thus unlocks the highly sought after FREE SHIPPING. Anyone had the costco beans? They got a few brands including kirkland all 29 bucks a kg

    • Haven’t tried the Costco ones specifically, but have tried Coles and Aldi - they’re adequate I guess and were ok value when they were legitimately cheap. But at this price point Lime blue will be significantly better than your supermarket quality even if only for freshness (and I’d say flavour as well, but that’s more to taste).

      • -1

I paid 60bucks a kg for campos like a clown. I went tasmania and coffee is so good there better than Melbourne. Will be ordering some from there next

    • Anyone had the costco beans?

      Nobody has.

    • +3

I haven't had Costco beans, Aldi ones are great, my last two purchases the roast date was exactly 2 weeks ago so I jumped on Aldi. It all depends on the roast date, be it supermarket beans or direct from a roaster. I used to pay high prices for LB and Inglewood, so I just walk to the Aldi (2 minutes form my place), browse and pick the best roasted coffee.

The shipping cost is a deal breaker for me, I can understand they need to add that cost, and I am not local to LB, I'll buy from local to save some money, that I can use to buy premium milk lol No offence to LB, it's a great coffee, I recommend all my friends. I just buy bargain stuff now due to life expense ever growing.

Welcome to Wiadro’s weekly complaint about lime blue coffee….

Have you tried just hiding these posts?

nah, i don't wanna restrict my Ozadvertising experience

      • Used to be Hair Police, seems like the mantle has been passed.

The products being discounted are different to the previous ad - as it generally is.

      • -1

        are they different coffee beans?

Show me a web archive of them being the usual $52.50 per 1kg price? im yet to find it

          Last deal 27/8

1kg $27.90 Thank You / Buy 500g Moments to Memories Get Free 500g Single Origin

Entirely different beans (other than some overlap with the ‘free’ 500g SO).

Certainly they rotate though, the Brazil São Paulo is my go to and that was last 30/7. But each week/fortnight is typically something different. The BSP last week was ‘full price’ for example.

          • -2

@SanguinarySeraph: on the 7/8 it was 50% off
            https://web.archive.org/web/20250807035013/https://limebluec…

then on the 7/7 it was 40% off.

So really you are paying 10% more than the previous discount.
In reality, there's no deal here.

@Wiadro: Hey @Wiadro I understand it can sometimes be hard to see the wood for the trees without all of this information and you are not privy to all the information. As such, I know to you it may seem like we don't sell coffee at full price, however that interpretation is factually incorrect. There is not a day I can remember in which we have not had customers pay full price for our coffee. Both full priced and discounted orders sincerely mean so much to us because without them Lime Blue Coffee simply would not exist. Any discounts we offer simply help us keep both full and sale prices as they are and also lower the barrier to entry for people to mix it up and try different coffees, so they can find out which is their favourite. In terms of the % level of discounts, all we are doing is simply taking the money that a reseller would get as a margin and passing that margin directly to our terrific customers in the form of savings. We're a relatively small company so our pricing and the amount of different coffees we offer throughout the year is only possible by moving the coffee fairly quickly. If we weren't able to move the coffee quickly ourselves then two things would happen. First, we only be able to offer a few options and not feature anywhere near as many Single Origins and Blends as we do. Second, we'd have to go down the route of selling via resellers, which effectively means our profit margin would remain the same but customers would need to pay more as their current savings would go directly in the pocket of resellers. That said, there's nothing wrong with being a reseller, it's just that we've decided to pursue a direct relationship with our customers for as long as we possible can, rather than first going to resellers for distribution and as such think when possible the reseller margin should remain in our customers pocket. I don't expect you to change your interpretation about what we do, but I do hope this comment does help you understand there's no real smoke and mirrors about us and we are not doing anything wrong or getting some unfair market advantage. Anyway I'll stop my ramblings now, whatever your thoughts after reading this, there's no hard feeling from us and we wish you all the best with your coffee adventures :)

cant get free delivery with 2 x 1kg purchase, ill have to skip this deal.

    • You can add a 500g (usually I pick something I haven’t tried) and it’ll tip you over.

I’d say it’s carefully calculated to encourage that extra spend, as it often is with free shipping thresholds.

      • +3

Hey @SanguinarySeraph nice answer assist, much appreciated!

It's not super calculated at present, as it hasn't changed in over 2 years, but each years our shipping and other costs have increased as is the norm. We do our best to keep the free shipping threshold as low as we can without it being too financially risky :)

    • +1

Had the same comment last time and OP had some long winded response about it.

Regardless of the reason: pricing psychology actually deters me from buying in this case. Customers want to feel like they’ve gotten a bargain (even if you’ve already done the math to ensure as a seller you still win) and in this case, feeling like the free shipping threshold doesn’t give me a “win” makes me walk away from buying.

      Just some advice Lime Blue!

      • Hey @swamp potato really appreciate you taking the time to share more feedback. I hear you and as such I'll save you from another "long winded response" :)

The current free shipping threshold is the lowest we can make it all things being equal without significant financial risk to Lime Blue's existence, if we could drop it further would risking the longevity of Lime Blue we would :)

      • Coffee price + shipping plus the quality you get should make you feel the price is worthwhile.

    • +1

Hey @Kanu shame you're skipping, fingers crossed a future deal is a winner for you!

p.s. "FREE SHIPPING for orders over $69. For example, 2x500g of either Single Origin and 1x1kg Pancake Party Blend via this deal is $69.78 thus unlocks the highly sought after FREE SHIPPING"… so you can get free shipping with a 2kg order via this deal it'll just be packed as 1x1kg+2x500g :)

  • Waiting for a decaf deal

    • -1

Have some caffeine while you wait to relieve the anxiety…

      • +1

The lack of a decaf deal is what's giving me anxiety…

    • Yeah I wouldn't mind one either. Keen to try the swiss decaf when it goes on sale again.

  • Reporting in on Pancake Party - grabbed a key a month or so back and after some tuning with brew time and water temp it came out as a nice daily driver through the aeropress. Not as full-bodied as I usually go for but definitely enjoyable, just be prepared to play around (but I guess that applies to all new beans). Great price and service from LB.

    • Do people measure coffee in "keys" when they come from Colombia?

      • It would make sense!

I just listen to a lot of rap.

  • Colombia Single Origin @ $30kg is currently my top choice "budget bean". Its a lighter roast and makes awesome espresso, not bad with milk either.

The blends aren't bad, but i prefer SO better.

Aldi's Lazzio SO is pretty good too. I used to buy those a lot, but the roast is a bit too dark for me. I think Lime Blue has a nicer, more fruitier profile.

I buy 2KGs for the free shipping and stick them in my freezer 👍

    • I buy 2KGs for the free shipping

2Kg won't get you free shipping on these.

      • Better buy 2.5kg then

        • You're better off buying 3Kg…
