Weber 10% off at Rays Outdoors. Use for Price Beat 10% Policy at Masters

290

Rays' latest catalogue has 10% off Weber products. Website is already updated with new prices.
Price after 10% off
Q100 - $260.10
Q200 - $350.10
Q305 - $620.10
+ all accessories etc.

Use Master's Price Promise to get a further 10% off - only for the Q200 and Q305 as the Q100 is $2 below Ray's (at $258)
http://miy.masters.com.au/about/masters-promise
Masters prices are slightly higher:
Q200 - $359
Q305 - $644 (Masters calls it the Weber Q Family so YMMV)

This drops the price to
Q200 - $315.90
Q305 - $558.09 (if the product codes are the same)

Similar to the previous DJ's price beat - but DJ's doesn't have any more stock so Master's won't match anymore.

  • Love my weber!

    • are they THAT good? I've got a crappy 6 burner at the moment from Aldi… and I was tempted to buy one tomorrow when the catalogue becomes 'live'.

      • +1

        They are THAT good.
        I mean it.
My wife has never used our old 6 burner.
Bought the Weber Q a couple of weeks ago, she has used it 8 times.
        Honestly, really that good.

      • Yes they are fantastic to cook with and easy to use aswell. Roasting is also fantastic with the weber. The key is to keep the lid on and it will do it's magic.

      • Really good. I have always appreciated Weber quality. I thought the Q was just marketing hype, but still bought one from masters a few months back on price match policy. So easy to use. So easy to clean. It is a simple joy to cook on. Ours get used at least twice a week.

        • same here, can't stand a steak done on sauce pan anymore. Use the weber at least twice a week.

          Lamb roast is the best.

      • Yes they are. I thought they were a wank until I got one.
Always had Bunnings 4 burner jobs. They suck majorly once you get a Weber.
They use a lot less gas and seriously, even crappy steaks turn out awesome.
Put a perfect eye fillet or a nice scotch fillet and they are magnifique!!

I have it in my alfresco, and regardless of weather / season, I use it at least once, sometimes twice a week. (During colder months). Don't even bother cooking meat in the kitchen anymore!

  • Great deal on such a good BBQ, shame you cant get the q220 with the higher hood though.

    • Yeah. only the specialist stores carry the Q220, so no chance of a price beat/special

    • Got a Q320 about 4 years ago – has a 2cm higher lid than the 305 and also comes with a thermometer which I find very useful as you tend to cook more with the lid. If you’re in the market for a premium BBQ I would pay the extra a go with the Q320. When my Dad first saw it he commented “why did I pay so much for a toy BBQ?” Guess who rolled his 4 gas burner out for curb side collection and few months later and replace it with a 320.

      • Also has the electric starter.
All worth the small extra money in my mind.

      • I agree the 320NG at $719 is worth the extra 20 over the 305NG at $699. But I got the 305 at masters for. $540 (price match Price Pirate). This was a no brainer. Bought a thermapen with the savings. Best investment.

  • nvm

  • Can you buy spares for weber stuff? I bought a q200 but it fell over in a cyclonic storm and the handle was sheared off the lid.. :(

    • +1

Vladdo, just call Weber up and ask. They still believe in old fashioned service!

If you're lucky they'll even replace it for free as they have done for me in the past. I stupidly forgot to unfold the shelves on my Q220 before igniting (doh!) but I manged to catch them a couple of minutes later before they made a mess. Called Weber, admitted I was a fool and I got replacement shelves express couriered and with me within a couple of days!

Another time the temperature guage on the hood of my big 4 burner Summit BBQ was basically unusable thanks to the text fading to oblivion. Called up Weber and got a replacement in days!

Weber is still king for a reason. If you can stretch and pay the high initial purchase price you wont be disappointed I can assure you.

      • yeah.. $90 for a lid! no freebies for me unfortunately..

    • I just called for how much the Q220 lid is, it's 140 for a replacement.

  • Did anyone get their Weber from the last David Jones offer? I ordered and paid but they still don't have stock. So I'm still waiting!

  • +1

For those who registered for the AMEX deal where you get $50 back when you spend $250 - the price of the Baby Q comes to $208.

Having said that, I rang thebbqshop.com.au and they said they would match the price on the Q100 but not the Q100E (as I had hoped).

  • wish we had this deal again http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/68734

    Weber Q305 $462, Q100 $191

  • Has anyone actually undertaken the 10% price BEAT at Masters.
Reason I ask is that OH went to Masters here in WA (Joondalup) - and they mentioned that they will only PRICE MATCH - as it is considered an appliance (go figure..) She was not in the mood to argue. Could just have been an ill informed employee

So if anybody has obtained the price beat - would like to hear some input from stores where it was given.

    Thanks

    • Although it's an advertised policy, it's still a bit luck of the draw I think.

I managed to get the Q200 price beat from the DJ's deal earlier for a bit over $300 (they didn't include the $15 worth of online discount codes). At first the person wanted to add DJ's shipping cost until I pointed out that I could pick up from the local DJ's. I could tell she really didn't want to put it through, but when another attendant brought the box over on a trolley - she gave up (avoid the hassle of getting someone to take it back etc). I didn't bother trying to push my luck having price beat on the DJ's price including online discount codes.

Likewise, last year on one of the dyson handhelds, the person I was speaking to forgot about the appliance exclusion and gave me a price beat instead of a price match.

These were both from Masters in Oakleigh South (VIC)

    • HI there,

yes I got masters @ Oconner to price match and beat it by 10% the David Jones offer.

so now I have nice BBQ.

  • How come it's cheaper at DJ when it's the same discount 10% off ?

    last time : http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/117510 Q200LP $314 Masters 10% Price Beat = $282.60 (according to the title)
    this time : Q200 $350.10 after price beat $315.90

    Am I missing something ?

    • Because DJ was 10% off, then you applied the $10 and $5 code to lower it again. Some where able to get masters to price beat the price after applying the two codes.

  • Managed to get the Q200 for $264.10 from Masters (after pricematch from Hawkesbury Heating and $50 AMEX rebate)

    Hawkesbury Heating price: $349 (http://www.hawkesburyheating.com.au/products-page/bbqs/41-2)
    Masters Price match to: -10% = $314.10
    AMEX discount: -$50 = $264.10 (for online purchases over $250: https://enroll.amexnetwork.com/AU/en/woolworths-2013/)

Had to place the order online for the AMEX discount to take effect and then after call Masters to get the price difference as per their price promise for online purchases (http://miy.masters.com.au/about/masters-promise)

Just received a phone call confirming price difference will be refunded to my credit card.

Picking up my weber this afternoon :)

    • Sorry! Unfortunately the maximum number of Cards have already enrolled for this offer. :(

  • Dont forget to pre-purchase your woolies gift cards through entertainment book to get 5% off at masters!!
