  • I own the L43 and be wary the maps arent exactly the most up to date outside of Vic and Syd … Driving through the gold coast was a laugh. For the price its not a bad unit just dont expect too much. And you're limited to 2GB SD cards…

There are updates online, however, only the newer models seem to be getting support these days.

    • Thanks for that, its good to know. They probably mean the latest map software for this particular GPS.
Not a lie, but not the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Still as you said, for the price…

    • There is always the internet for free updates if you know what you're doing. These Lasers are easily updated…….

With a slow processor, too dear for $109 though……

      • You get what you pay for.
You say too dear for $109 so where can you buy a better one for less than this?

        • Even my Coles sold the Voxson GPS350s for $69 - bought 2. Brilliant units - rock solid, excellent German-made clamp and holder, better features with option of onboard or SD card maps, me currently running iGo8 with Sensis maps from SD card and Destinaror/Navteq from the SD card.
Can confirm these units are still available at Coles Woden.

3 months ago, HT sold the LogicGears for $79 (Samsung 400MHz). I bought my eBay one (again (which outperforms all the GPSes I have in my family) for $65 delivered. I also bought a TomTom One V3 from Officeworks (pricematch HT) for $119.

          • @McLarenHonda: That is cheap. It's incredible how much they are now selling them for now.

  • ya, 400 MHZ is probably a norm nowadays and some even run at 533 MHZ.
