I could not find anything close to this cheap $ for a decent 6ltr pressure cooker. Great size and economical price as well thinking the amount of Gas/Electricity saved while cooking food (meat tenderising etc) in a pressure cooker (Wife's suggestion). Have seen good reviews regarding build quality and safety.

The next upgrade option is Tefal Acticook which only has an additional feature a timer which i thought isn't a need but a want. Therefore if someone is interested in the Acticook, please check out at Peter's of Kensington as they have it at a great price as below -

  Thanks for the advice alwayseric. However the closing system on this pressure cooker isn't the the best as you have to rub hard on the seal everytime u close the pressure cooker thus making the seal more prone to cracking/disintegrating. Therefore i did not want to go for an old school system, however you can buy it cheaper here http://www.homesnthings.com.au/shop/shop-by-brand/tefal/tefa…

    From the article, the main difference seems to be that electric pressure cookers are easier to use with digital timers and it automatically sets the temperature.
    
    I think I'd prefer electric!

  the one from V basement has tefal coating. not sure about the Target one.

Personally, i would go to the Tefal Acticook instead, it's the upgrade version of this one.
