Free Dr. Dre Tour Earphones (RRP $89) with Any iPhone 4 Repair (SA Only) - Digimob

20

I've just noticed this deal on the website from helping my friend out. Not sure what the minimum cost is to repair an iPhone to receive the earphones but you would need to get a quote over the phone or in store. My friend got a quote for an LCD + Digitizer replacement for $90.

The earphones are only while stocks last and I am not sure how many they would have in stock.

    I smell replicas…

Nah, going by the description and picture they are counterfeits - illegal.

I highly doubt it's fake. Just because it isn't a chain store or have a fancy webpage doesn't automatically mean all small independent businesses scam people. They have a store in Adelaide since 2000 and have been advertising on a number of radio stations for a few years now. How does "going by the description and picture" instantly make you jump to a conclusion that it's fake?

A store that specialises in using non genuine parts to repair phones, nothing wrong with that but it tells you that they are more than happy in selling non genuine accessories and or parts.

Also, $89 headphones free with a job that costs $90… Let's assume that parts are $25 and headphones can be bought at half price, that leaves around $14 for the store to pay wages and overheads.

Add to that how many really good Beats fakes there are and that's why is seems dodgy.

/\ not a perfect example, just the top search on Aliexpress. I actually saw one that sold the same thing for ~$24 for 10 including shipping but the picture didn't illustrate it as well.

        Genuine ones retail over $200.

          Genuine ones retail over $200.

Not that they should be that much.

  • smh has this site no shame tricking people with fakes.
