Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 $227 ($204.30 with 10% Perks code) + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ JB Hi-Fi

250

Spotted the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 at JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks for $227

Even better, if you’re a JB Perks member, you can use the 10% off code from this deal to bring it down to just $204.30.

Not as good as the $99 Telstra deal. But seems a decent price. More so if you can use discounted GCs.

Also looks like the same price (or price matched) at Harvey Norman and Amazon.

Anyone here tried both the original Pixel Buds Pro and the new Pixel Buds Pro 2?
I’ve got the first-gen and while I really like the sound and features, they’re almost unusable for anything active — they fall out super easily.
And yep, I’ve tried all the included tip sizes. For reference, I also own various Sony, Samsung, Xiaomi…. buds, and the original Pixel Buds Pro are by far the worst in terms of staying in-ear.

Yeap. The second Gen stay in ear much better for sure

Also have both - 2nd definitely better at staying in.

Most of the earbuds slips from my ears. Only ones I got working are the A-series and pro2. A series got a bigger wings so better fit for me. However pro2 still stays with right tip size. Also these are bit smaller/lighter and better sound with noice cancellation.

Def thumbs up for PBP2, when compared to the original PBP regarding fit/comfort. The Pro 2 are smaller and fit much better thanks to the wings. They’re also smaller so you don’t feel the weight. I have used them for runs and I am not constantly jamming them back into my ears, something I had to do from time to time with the Original PBP.
If the stock tips aren’t sitting quite right, try Sonicfoam foam tips from Amazon. Much cheaper than Comply and they also fit in the charging case with no issue.

Agree 100%. Love the features of PBP1, but the fit is terrible. Constantly feeling like they fall out, then do.

I'm using AirPod Pro's with my Pixel as I find the fit so much better. Anyone comment on how PBP2 compare to AirPod Pros?

    • I use the Spinfit tips and they work really well for the pro 2. You can try out a few third party tips from amazon, spinfit worked the best for me ~ 15 AUD

But $99 was the real deal

    • yeah I doubt that's happening again though. Most people missed it.

    • Then ppl got it at 99 bucks and sells it online around 220

I would say for $99 they're definitely worth it but I'd look at alternatives at the current price.

They're decent enough if you like in-ear earphones, the noise cancelling is nice but not amazing.

My issue with these is how many problems I've had with them compared to the tiny amount of usage I've given them, they are occasionally needing to be cleaned using unconventional methods when the NC stops working.

The battery is decent enough and the case is nice to hold etc. but yeah others should look around for alternatives first imo.
