Soundcore by Anker a20i. Available at $25.99 for all colours (white, black and purple).

Looking at past history, looks like quite a promising budget wireless airbuds.

I'm a big fan of the Moondrop Space Travel but that's an additional $10 and not everyone likes the anime voice. Missus requested for no anime voice so here we are.

  • Been in the market for a new set of gym buds to use instead of my over ear headphones, can anyone recommend them for gym use?

  • +2

Bought these few months back, for a similar price. Mainly for listening to podcasts, which they are fine with.

To be honest, for music - I think they are very poor indeed.

  • +3

I wouldn't recommend these. I needed a cheap pair of buds for gym only so bought it couple months ago thinking I can just buy one cheap one every year or so. One side just stopped working one day.
Since then I just invested in a slightly more expensive buds with better reviews with gym.

    • Exact same experience here, only used for gym and one side died after a few months.

    • What about a warranty return?

  • +1

I have airpods pro (lasts a morning) and normal airpods but use these most frequently due to their long battery life. There are sometimes connectivity issues when swapping devices. I've bought these 3x now (now on my third pair as I'm constantly losing them)

  • These are garbage. Spend a little more and get something like the QCY MeloBuds Pro, even if on a tight budget.

    • My melobuds died after a few months. Wouldn't recommend them either

  • +1

for 26. punches above it's weight and are "disposables".

SQL is what you pay for a brand name entry level at rrp.

  • Anyone have any recommendations for ones similar in this price range but with ear hooks and are in-ear?

  • i think these are pretty good, way better than you expect for the price

  • save your 25 for this one and the next 'bargain' and buy a better pair instead for the money.

  • My kids love these - bang for buck. They've been using theirs daily since Christmas last year with no issues. Great quality, cheap wireless bluetooth bud style headphones. Rich in features they're obviously not elite quality buds for an audiophile.

Not sure what you want for $26 but these are decent at that price…

  • Back to $39

  • +1

These don't like going through the washing machine apparently….
    I liked them before that

    • Unfortunately, I concur. The charger survived though.

Shite product. Stay away. Any Tozos (so affordable to boot) would be a whole lot better in design and most of all, SQ.

  • For people that are NOT audiophiles, these are absolutely fantastic. I have 4 or 5. Highly recommend for music, podcasts, calls, gym, running, everyday.

  • LOL weird question, but I don't suppose anyone who has owned these has a "spare" working left bud that they'd be willing to post to me for a few bucks? My wife dropped hers somewhere and it feels like a waste to chuck the rest, which was otherwise working fine*.

As others have said above, these are perfectly OK for the price point. They're not winning any awards but they'll put sound in your ears and you won't cry if they break or cough you lose one of them.

Been through plenty of these budget buds, but between these, Yamdrok Y1 and hoco EW78, these probably had the better microphone pickup for calls (which isn't saying much). However, my wife prefers the "airpod" form factor because they stay in her ears better, but obviously that's very much a personal thing.

    • I know this probably belongs in forums, but it'd get nowhere near the visibility as in this thread, so hopefully I can beg mods to allow it given the contribution to the discussion…

Ironically, my wife also lost the left bud on the Yamdroks as well. I'd also inquire as to those, but less likely to find anyone with those here :-D

    • I now have 3 right buds that dont work :) a20 p20 Not sure whats going on. But only used for gym and the right bud always goes after a few months.

      • Try a new right ear this time maybe ;)

      • Excessive sweating in right ear.

  • Posted this in the other earbud thread, but Tozo are pretty good and $24 with a code on Amazon right now
