Sorry if that sounded a bit harsh. Its still a good tablet, but the lower res makes the deal less attractive compared to alternatives than it would otherwise be. It is a weakness worth noting.
I like how they put up head to head spec war with other makers.
Just because of their stupid comparisons, im not going to support them.
Similar to the Acer A510. EB Games had them for around $180 so I don't feel like this is a deal.

LOLLLLLLYou know.. technically they're right. A lower-res camera will be smoother as there's less data to send.
But it makes it look like they're desperate. ahaha.
actually it's only right if it's set like that, skype for instance will throttle video quality based on bandwidth available so if there's not enough it'll throttle down for 'smoother video chatting' to e.g. VGA res.
It just means this tablet has no way of improving video quality if you have a good connection. There's no benefit from a poorer quality sensor.
I got the Nexus 10 and I don't think my Nexus 10 will lose to this on speed and performance.
Your nexus 10 will annihilate it. Hence why the comparison is dumb. The idiots there use marketing gimmicks to promote performance.. There is no way a quad core A7 will even perform half as good as a dual core A15 chipset found in the iPad 4 and nexus 10. Not to mention how the GPU in both of those are far superior to the crap in the Acer. I despise misleading advertising.

The a7 chip is the name of the chip used in the iPad Air. its actually using an a56 architecture which is based on 64-bit processing
The a7 architecture is really crap and outdated, it was only ever intended as a power saving chip. but silly companies like acer use the 'quad-core' expression and exploit consumers who are gullible in believing more cores = more performance.
Note RRP for the tablet alone is $399 so really it's only 25% off.

In terms of specs, same tablet, just different brands. Honestly I would spend little bit more and get a Nexus 10 which is miles better than both of them.
Is this tablet only wifi mode?
