Voucher be used for the EPP store?

  • +21

    Scamsung

  • Is it worth paying $20 for the voucher?

    • +3

Based on previous s25 series preorder bonus; if you're looking to buy the fold7 flip7, yes. The deals were good.
If not, then the voucher is at least worth $20.

      • Thats a different voucher called Eco Voucher .

      • Not sure if you happen to know, but is it for phones only, or also the watch that may be coming out? Cheers

    • I bought the $20 voucher, but not sure where it gets delivered. can't find it anywhere

      • +1

They email it to you within 72hrs

        • +1

got the voucher via email now. thanks

          • @Jadeja: When does the paid voucher expire?

            • @Sweetnsour: It's in the terms - you have to use it within the preorder period (July) to get the $100 value

            • @Sweetnsour: eVoucher will expire 3 years from date of issue. check here

              • @Jadeja: So can you hoard voucher to get a free Samsung?

                • +1

@nightelves: You can only apply 1 $20 evoucher that you purchase with different stackable codes - usually up to 3 codes

                  • @tnarg: Dang. Thanks.

                    • @nightelves: See my other comment below to see how it usually works to get the best bang for buck

    • +1

If you are going to purchase a Flip 7 or Fold 7, then yes it is. You can stack the $20evoucher code along with the eco voucher (if you are buying additional items with the phone, like a case, watch etc).
Usually on the pre order release you can stack the following with bonuses:

      • $20 (worth $100 voucher)
      • $100 eco voucher (to use toward additional items with phone purchace)
      • $100 loyalty voucher (usually via chat bot or email Samsung support) - Say something like I'm changing from Apple or that you have had Samsung products before and want to upgrade
      • Bonus trade in value (maybe $200 - $400 depending on fold or flip) with trade in of old device value

This is what usually happens. Sometimes they throw in a glitch and you get discount upon discount .

  • too late HamBoi

    • Where?

      • sorry, thats for $20 eco voucher
my bad, just woke up, still half asleep 😴

        • Yeh. This one is separate and doesn't require any purchase (to get the voucher).

  • +1

Pretty average voucher. Hopefully get some boosted pre-order deals along with it.

Last year had a sign up for $100/200 trade in offer but their pre-order deals also had a further $450 trade in and $200 ecosystem voucher on top.

Got an email from JB Hi-Fi offering $200 voucher for pre-registering for this event. Here is a direct link

You are very wrong! The only time to buy a Samsung product is at launch to use all the various discounts and vouchers and trade in bonuses. I bought an S25 at launch for $400, can you find me that price since then?

        • How did you get that price?

          • +2

@Micky14: I think he thinks giving his phone back is not a cost…

            • +4

@tightm8: That includes the $30 admin fee charged for not returning the device. So you can accept you're wrong this fine glorious Tuesday.

              • @evolution-flip: You're lucky they only charged you $30. I got charged $60.

                • @jaj024: They charge you $60 when your trade in device is over a certain value. I think it's $100 or more.

            • @tightm8: Some people see their old phone as a sunk cost. The trade in credit is a bonus, and they're only considering any new out of pocket cost. There would be many who can relate to this approach.

          • +2

@Micky14: It was one of the deals here back when it was released

      • +7

Release is often the best time to buy Samsung devices. They generally offer significant incentives to get people on board.

        • +4

          100% accurate.

Getting married, having my 2 lovely kids, getting a samsung S23U 512 for $700 brand new on the OZB.

Thats the ascending order of my life's greatest achievements.

  • Did they not stop the "loyalty" vouchers $100? Which would make this deal feel bad.

    • -4

      English?

      • +3

"I heard they got rid of the $100 loyalty vouchers. Is that right? Because that would make this deal feel like a bad value."

        • Yes, the $100 chat voucher has been stopped after the commbank yello screwup.

          • @xavster: Did anyone end up getting the Samsung tablet from that screw up?

            • @nightelves: 1 or 2 that ordered before the deal was posted here did get theirs but they ordered a day or so before it was posted on Ozbargain.

  • Registered and showing me an empty page.

    No emails received.

    Well played Samsung.

    • +2

It'll just be slow at the moment. Everyone and their dog will be registering.

  • I don't think you can stack codes if you buy this voucher. This was on the invoice after i purchased the $20 voucher just now.

"Please ensure your cart only contains the Galaxy eVoucher+ when checkingout. Once you receive your unique codevia email, you will be able to redeem it towards your next transaction. Promotion applied to your order"

    • +3

You'll definitely be able to stack it with the trade in bonus, though.

    • +1

I reckon they will offer a pre order bonus of another 100 to 200 off.
Plus this voucher taking 100 off
      Plus 500 trade in discount.
If we are lucky… a 20% discount for buying an additional item.

Im hoping for more though as there is runoured price hikes so its not going to be as good as normal.

    • +1

i thought that was talking about your cart when buying THIS VOUCHER not the phone later

  • S26 come out soon?

    • +4

Next year. This is for a new Fold and Flip 7.

  • +1

If I win the tablet, I'm going to vomit blood

    • Just use it to get the trade in bonus for the S26

      • you cant. thats the thing. I already have one they wont let me trade back. been off the list for months, if it was ever there\

can trade my old S5E but nope, not an A9+

        • It'll get added at some point.

          • +1

            @wombat81: A device from early 2019 is still trade-able, but a device from late 2023 isn't?

            thats not a coincidence.

Sammy have been giving the A9+ away for free or for $50 with recent purchases

You can also trade-in a Tab S4 from 2018 and you think its a mistake that the A9+ cant be traded back?

they cant even give them away, so now they are trying via a voucher sign-up?

and you still think its an omission?

come on, the device is a piece of junk

  • Trying to register, but it just loads a blank page after putting in details. Anyone facing this?

    • Has been a bit iffy for me, I ended up buying it on the Samsung Shop on my Galaxy phone under "Offers" not sure if you have to even register if you go that way.

    • +2

      scroll up bruh

  • -2

Am I missing something here? it costs $20 to get this voucherm

    • +2

The $20 voucher is a separate deal for $100 off new device.

This deal is free $100 voucher for accessories/tablet (when purchased with new device).

  • I assume new Fold and new Flip?

The Fold is actually nice but I am worry about it cracks by itself and then Samsung tell you to F off…..

    • Fold 5 here and still kicking.

      • Fold 2 here and still kicking, albeit not so flat anymore when opening.
still works. will change when this one breaks down.
didn't realize 256gb is too small when taking videos of the bub.

        • Wow that a long time ownership. If it happens to break when this phone out. You are in for massive improvement.

  • Cool, been waiting for this. Will be upgrading 2 Flip 5's to the 7's (either Fold or Flip). Bought 2 evouchers as well with the register to stack., unfortunately the Mrs. dropped and cracked her screen last week on the flip 5, so no trade in bonus back on it, just the generic watch I'll add to get the additional trade in bonus.

  • Can you stack two $100 vouchers from two accounts?

    • +1

Samsung will generally only except 1 of the same type of each voucher on an order in my experience

  • Can I complete the sign-up form using my existing .edu email that I already use for the Samsung Education Store?

  • I bought a Galaxy S25+ 512GB at the late Jan Feb prerelease. I ended up not using it as its a bit big for holding with my hand so was thinking on trading it in on a S25 512GB which I probably should had done in the first place but the battery seemed encouraging.

Q, what sort of price would a trade in would I possible get on a S25 to downsize?

For whatever reason, doing this online phone buying seems very stressful and so many tactics and hoops for which I seem unprepared. My fault I guess but samsung dont seem to make it easy with the way they do things. I guess its ok for the young gen to juggle all the hoops and techniques but its each year feels more and more like mission impossible but any tips to make it more simple is welcome.

  • +3

My Fold 3 is on its last legs, screen stuck pixels, one dead speaker, battery is old. I'm buying a Fold 7 no matter the price, but likely to be higher:

NieuweMobiel has spotted the listings for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 at an Italian electronics store website, complete with prices. Based on those listings, the 256GB Galaxy Z Fold 7 will cost 2,227 euro and the 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 will cost 1,425 euro.

These prices are 200 and 100 euro higher compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6, respectively.

  • Anyone received the eco voucher? Signed up yesterday morning and haven't received it.

  • Just received an email from Samsung I had registered using two different email addresses. My main Samsung account got a 5% discount, while the other one, which I don’t usually use, received a 10% off voucher
