Man the survey page loads sooooo slowly, and its one question per page. 10 minutes in and I'm only halfway through…. this better be worth it!

    • Must be because thousands of people are applying as well ;)

    • I thought that was just my internet connection. It was excruciatingly slow

  • Finished survey, hope i get it.

  • How accurate are these surveys? I just randomly selected things.
How many here also just randomly selected things?

    • i did. guess were both on the same boat

      • Me too.. Was jsut trying to quickly get through it as the pages loaded so slow..

  • All filled out, waiting for the mail now :-)

  • some questions are linked to others. Just hope they don't do a check :P

This is bs done twice at the last step come up error!!! Give up.

      lol mine worked all right
      although i doubt it'll ever come =O
its probably just a scam - they might just say "oh you weren't one of the first 5000 to respond"
      =[

Doubt it, I just tried and it 404'd, and that's probably happened because they have had too many participants.

        • +2

Though I come & give it another go but it's official close. So you 2 could be in luck :)

We've reached the 5,000 entrant limit on the survey and have subsequently had to close it.

  • Has anyone actually RECEIVED anything in the post yet?

I think this is a SCAM!

    • Well, its a bit too early.

But yes, there is a chance that it could be a scam

  • -2

Definitely NOT a scam, Notebook magazine are a reputable magazine. From memory in the terms and conditions the product wont be sent out until May I think?
    Original email here http://www.homehints.com.au/newsletters/20090415.html

  • Yeah it usually takes a while for these things to be sent out because it takes a while to collate the data (I speak from experience!). They would never risk their reputation by advertising a false freebie.

  • Anyone gotten anything yet?

    • nope.

  • nope

  • Nothing yet - this is a scam. Surely this sort of stuff should not be allowed. Who's the watchdog to keep an eye on this sort of thing?

  • and now the link is working again?? http://www.taste.com.au/surveys/index.php?sid=43786

    • Then don't waste your time on it as people who completed the survey still waiting for their cream.

I tried to go back into the original link and an email address came up if you had queries. I emailed asking when the product would be sent out and got the following response:

Thank you for contacting Notebook: magazine.

At this point in time all entrants’ details have been passed onto Dr LeWinn's for prize fulfillment, therefore you should you receive your prize very shortly.

As stated in point eight of the T+Cs prizes will be sent via standard mail and should be received up to eight weeks after the survey closing date, which was May 10, 2009.

Should you not have received your prize after this time, please do not hesitate to contact me.

    • Ah, that explains it. Good work

  • Anyone received this yet?

  • +3

Sent them an email the other day and got a reply:

Firstly, allow me to apologise on behalf of Notebook: & Dr LeWinns for this inconvenience. You are unfortunately not the first participant to question the delivery of your free product but I assure you that you will be receiving this prize pack. Due to unforeseen circumstances, this delivery has been delayed but my colleagues are working diligently to rectify this. We are currently sending out notices to this effect attentioned to the addresses provided during the survey.

So at least they're being nice about it.

  • I'm still waiting for mine and haven't received an email from them!

    • me too!

  • So what happens now? Clearly they've reneged on the offer since no one has received the products.

  • have not received it

  • They did a runner :)

  • i got it today!

  • Got mine today too! Guess they were sick of my complaining emails!

  • got mine as well after 4months….

  • got mine too today

  • Yeah, finally! Totally forgot about it. It was a bit of surprise for the missus.

  • Woo hoo, arrived today - got the Night cream. Very happy :)

  • it's arrived, i was so surprised to see it was this (thought it mite be my garnier product that never arrived)
