Hi guys,

I recently picked up a cheapo food dehydrator and currently eating my first batch of jerky and my 2nd is currently marinating away in the fridge. A 3rd will likely join it this afternoon…

Realising this could be an expensive hobby if I keep at it at this rate, I was hoping to source cheaper / bulk supplies of the things involved in the process.

Anyone able to point me in the direction of bulk/wholesalers that don't require an ABN to purchase from them?

    Its sound like your not using a cheap meat….. Family uses a dehydrator to make jerky and it don't cost much…..

      The cost of meat used would depend on the the availability of something with low fat. We can't usually get that locally for less than about $16 per kilo.

      OP I have no idea of how their prices compare but these people sell in bulk.
