      I guess for the price, it's unlikely to be a waterproof/breathable fabric like Gore-Tex.

    It' been at this price for a long while. The material is quite thin. I wouldn't be surprised if it tears or holes are found after a few uses. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet.

      I think waterproof uses materials like PVC. No water in or out so it can become sweaty to wear.

      Water resistant would be those fabrics that are 90%, 80% etc… They allow sweat vapour out but also allow a small degree of moisture in.
